My nephew went to New Orleans to visit some family and was wondering the shops. He said when he saw this deck, he felt a pull to it. He looked around the shop and kept going back to it. I guess the shop attendant told him if he kept going to a particular deck, there was a reason. When he explained to the guy, he was looking for something for his Wiccan aunt (me). They went into a conversation, and he ended up buying this very oracle deck for me. I absolutely LOVE it. I use this deck every day and am obsessed with the artwork. James R. Eads is a phenomenal artist. The cards are beautifully crafted, as well as the tin they go in. He also got my daughter a tarot deck from James R Eads. She's been using this newer deck instead of the one she had before. Says they "just feel right" ❤

I've collected all his decks, too, and this one is another beauty! He described the edges as "labradorite," which really got my attention! Thank you for helping me understand this one, Kelly!

I think this is one to explore! The Prisma Visions doesn’t speak out to me as a direct “tarot deck”, but since the Cosma Visions is a (hybrid) tarot/oracle deck with it’s own system this should expand how I connect to it with various healing centered readings. I owe thanks to you for showcasing some wonderful spiritual centered decks. TBC.. 🌙✨

The Truth in Story I’ve had it twice and the light visions once - i don’t currently have them - i keep downsizing - I am tempted by the light visions again - but I think the panoramas work beautifully here - and you showed 3 cards which had the backgrounds touching which sold it.
That book is awesome. Love the correlations between the two decks. I have not seen much of this deck around. Since I love the Prisma Visions Tarot, I should definitely check this one out. Thanks for the indepth look into thee Cosma Visions.

I had Prisma but didn't like the glossy stock so I just got the three tinned versions with matte cardstock. Of the three I like Cosma Visions best and think I'll use it as a tarot for now--just have to memorize which 'court' card is which. I could also see just using the 'court' cards along with a standard tarot. The Shadow Light Tarot also lays out all the cards in sequence in a black & white deck, and I find that art very nice, as well. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I bought the Light and Prisma Vision deck when i watched your video for the tarothon2020 about shadow cards. When i saw the Cosmic Vision deck on Instagram, i already knew that i would back it and i love predominance of green color in the deck. Thank you to have done that first look of it, it always so useful to have your point of view.
I just have to say … wow 🤩 … I have looked at the Prisma Vision cards several times , but while thinking them beautiful beyond belief , I have also felt intimidated by them (I’m fairly new to learning tarot) … so while I’ve been drawn, I’ve also not felt confident to handle them for some reason. But this new deck … oh my !!! I think I will finally cave and get over whatever has been holding me back. These cards speak to me on a very deep level. Thank you for this walk through! I love your way of interpreting cards and would love to listen to you more on that topic especially. Do you think the book would be helpful in better learning the nuances of this artist and his decks, or does the small guidebook give enough to go by? Again, much thanks! 😊
The little guidebook does a great job of giving you basic interpretations and cuing you into what you are looking at. It has all of the spreads of the big book as well. I think you would be fine to work with the included guidebook, you gain the benefit of the large artwork, reversals, and such from the guidebook AND it is a guidebook for the Prisma Visions. If you don't have Prisma Visions then you could just stay with the included book! Example for Four of Embers the included guidebook gives you the keywords of Community, Home, Celebration and it gives you a description of what you are seeing and then has a paragraph for interpretations: "The shrine shows itself to us when we are approaching a midpoint in our journey. It reminds us that the work is not over yet, but that does not mean we can't take a pause to celebrate and self care. Your journey will be made much easier with proper rest and reflection. Often when we power through things without stopping, we may get there faster, but not as well off. Pace yourself." In the larger book it gives the same as above with the addition of a reversed meaning with keywords and interpretation and adds in the Presence (or energy of uplifting, challenging or neutral) to both the upright and the reversed. "Lack of Support, Transience, Home Conflicts Upside-down the candles housed in the shrine will surely fall from safety and crash into it's wooden structure. When this card appears reversed it can represent a conflict in your own personal space. This could be due to constantly moving without taking time to pause. If you can find the time to take a break and free yourself from the constant daily routine you will find it much easier to appreciate the journey and you may also notice that some of these conflicts will fade." I hope that helps!
Although this video is 3 years old, I am just now buying this deck. I have had Prisma Visions 2nd edition for years and was considering getting Mira Visions, but the changing cards feels overwhelming to me and I’ll start with the regular deck and I’ll wait on the Mirra.
This is one of my all time favorite decks and one of my most used, it is amazing for transitions and liminal situations, changes are occurring, patterns that are playing out in this life, or generational, or past life, etc. Love it, I hope you enjoy it!
I'd really like to see you do a reading with this deck. I'm just getting back into past lives--things keep appearing that are encouraging me to work with them for myself and others and I'd like to see how this deck works. BTW--the first 5 cards gave me the shivers. Just beautiful.
Yes, I trimmed my first one down into a mini deck so I think it is a wonderful addition, it is great to do tableaus with this deck and for that you really need a smaller deck :D
An additional thought :) - While I'm not yet sure what I believe about past lives, I've been looking for a deck that would be good for diving deep when the Death card comes up significantly in a reading and you want to better understand what transition you or someone else is going through. Nothing quite felt right, but this would be fun to explore that way. Thanks again. :)
I was talking to my friend today about other ways this could be used for those who don't work with past lives, this makes a lot of sense and we definitely thought understanding transitional times would be perfect with this deck!
I was just reading more about the panoramas of the suits and apparently the ace also connects with the 10's to create an endless panorama for each suit.
Okay, I'm obsessed with Past Life Regressions and have been thinking about getting Prisma Visions... I had to run to the Kickstarter and get Double Visions + Big Hardback Book... (I also backed the Kickstarter for the Uncover Your Past Lives Oracle, and I do Past Life Readings with regular Tarot decks, as well as Past Life Regressions)

Unfortunately it sounds like you bought a fake deck, the deck comes with an actually little white book and having a QR code for a guidebook is a red flag that this is a pirated deck :/ I am sorry that you got stuck with a fake deck! :(
You can get the big book that James R Eads (the creator) offers on his shop - called "The Big Visions Book." It has card meanings for upright and reversals of each card in the Prisma and Cosma Visions decks.
So its an oracle AND tarot deck? I am understanding the tarot aspect but being new to reading etc I'm not sure I understand how to use it as an oracle?
It's an oracle that has a tie in to tarot, I don't really pay much attention to the tarot tie in unless something pops out. I treat it just like an oracle :)
I am not sure I understand your question, from this artist he has 2 tarots, Prisma and Light Visions, and he has this Cosma Visions oracle, and another cartomancy style deck.

I just have to say … wow 🤩 … I have looked at the Prisma Vision cards several times , but while thinking them beautiful beyond belief , I have also felt intimidated by them (I’m fairly new to learning tarot) … so while I’ve been drawn, I’ve also not felt confident to handle them for some reason. But this new deck … oh my !!! I think I will finally cave and get over whatever has been holding me back. These cards speak to me on a very deep level. Thank you for this walk through! I love your way of interpreting cards and would love to listen to you more on that topic especially. Do you think the book would be helpful in better learning the nuances of this artist and his decks, or does the small guidebook give enough to go by? Again, much thanks! 😊
The little guidebook does a great job of giving you basic interpretations and cuing you into what you are looking at. It has all of the spreads of the big book as well. I think you would be fine to work with the included guidebook, you gain the benefit of the large artwork, reversals, and such from the guidebook AND it is a guidebook for the Prisma Visions. If you don't have Prisma Visions then you could just stay with the included book! Example for Four of Embers the included guidebook gives you the keywords of Community, Home, Celebration and it gives you a description of what you are seeing and then has a paragraph for interpretations: "The shrine shows itself to us when we are approaching a midpoint in our journey. It reminds us that the work is not over yet, but that does not mean we can't take a pause to celebrate and self care. Your journey will be made much easier with proper rest and reflection. Often when we power through things without stopping, we may get there faster, but not as well off. Pace yourself." In the larger book it gives the same as above with the addition of a reversed meaning with keywords and interpretation and adds in the Presence (or energy of uplifting, challenging or neutral) to both the upright and the reversed. "Lack of Support, Transience, Home Conflicts Upside-down the candles housed in the shrine will surely fall from safety and crash into it's wooden structure. When this card appears reversed it can represent a conflict in your own personal space. This could be due to constantly moving without taking time to pause. If you can find the time to take a break and free yourself from the constant daily routine you will find it much easier to appreciate the journey and you may also notice that some of these conflicts will fade."

Although this video is 3 years old, I am just now buying this deck. I have had Prisma Visions 2nd edition for years and was considering getting Mira Visions, but the changing cards feels overwhelming to me and I’ll start with the regular deck and I’ll wait on the Mirra.
This is one of my all time favorite decks and one of my most used, it is amazing for transitions and liminal situations, changes are occurring, patterns that are playing out in this life, or generational, or past life, etc. Love it, I hope you enjoy it!

I'd really like to see you do a reading with this deck. I'm just getting back into past lives--things keep appearing that are encouraging me to work with them for myself and others and I'd like to see how this deck works. BTW--the first 5 cards gave me the shivers. Just beautiful.

Yes, I trimmed my first one down into a mini deck so I think it is a wonderful addition, it is great to do tableaus with this deck and for that you really need a smaller deck :D
An additional thought :) - While I'm not yet sure what I believe about past lives, I've been looking for a deck that would be good for diving deep when the Death card comes up significantly in a reading and you want to better understand what transition you or someone else is going through. Nothing quite felt right, but this would be fun to explore that way. Thanks again. :)
I was talking to my friend today about other ways this could be used for those who don't work with past lives, this makes a lot of sense and we definitely thought understanding transitional times would be perfect with this deck!

I was just reading more about the panoramas of the suits and apparently the ace also connects with the 10's to create an endless panorama for each suit.

Okay, I'm obsessed with Past Life Regressions and have been thinking about getting Prisma Visions... I had to run to the Kickstarter and get Double Visions + Big Hardback Book... (I also backed the Kickstarter for the Uncover Your Past Lives Oracle, and I do Past Life Readings with regular Tarot decks, as well as Past Life Regressions)

Unfortunately it sounds like you bought a fake deck, the deck comes with an actually little white book and having a QR code for a guidebook is a red flag that this is a pirated deck :/ I am sorry that you got stuck with a fake deck! :(

You can get the big book that James R Eads (the creator) offers on his shop - called "The Big Visions Book." It has card meanings for upright and reversals of each card in the Prisma and Cosma Visions decks.
So its an oracle AND tarot deck? I am understanding the tarot aspect but being new to reading etc I'm not sure I understand how to use it as an oracle?
It's an oracle that has a tie in to tarot, I don't really pay much attention to the tarot tie in unless something pops out. I treat it just like an oracle :)

I am not sure I understand your question, from this artist he has 2 tarots, Prisma and Light Visions, and he has this Cosma Visions oracle, and another cartomancy style deck.
