What i am starting to see about oracle decks is that the cards tell a story sort of. They almost seem like they make a set of mental markers. Then we blend the markers or sign posts intuitively, and the deck refreshes the season or reset your place in the world of that card. So each card reset on the inside view and the out side view. And we have an natural way of finding the way between them all. I have just started using "messages from your animal spirit guides" oracle cards, by steven d. farmer, and thats my once a week card, ha. Then my favorite right now, is "the illuminated earth oracle" by clare mack. I can pull one card a day or even a clarifier card, and i never get tired if the stimulating themes. I like the variety available. This is interesting, thanks for the info.

so many of these decks are out-of-stock now. I'm sad about that but you REALLy awakened me to what features I respond to in oracle decks. Now to search for NEWER decks!

Long time ago before internet purchases were a norm i bought a mermaid deck from a bookstore and was disappointed with the artwork and just was put off by it. To me I did a bad purchase but now I know it means I did not connect with it. Now after so many year ive decided to go for it again and been looking around for a deck again. Looking to get an oracle deck! and 16min into your video, 2 of your decks made the hair at the back of my neck stand up juz by looking at em. So excited!!

I have been watching more of the tarot’s I have a few Oracle decks, like for astrology and chakras and Angels etc. you have opened up my Eyes to check the beautiful art work thank you for sharing

Inna Segal is incredible. I have her color healing and the heal yourself cards by her and they are extremely insightful. They are extremely personal to me and only used for me and not for others.
My hubby recently found me an intact copy of, The Sacred Rebel at our fav thrift shop. Couldn't agree with you more on it! Sooooo happy you included, The Vintage Wisdom as it is one of my favs!!! Loved this!!! Blessings...

At the moment I am happy with my Angels Tarot Cards and that is the only pack I owned at the moment I bought them last year.
I really struggle to connect to oracle decks and have very, very few -- I think I ultimately really like the 'system' element of tarot and feel a bit perplexed without it. Two I do have you've mentioned here (Earthbound & Animal Spirit). The Messenger Cards are definitely on my wishlist, they're beautiful.

I so agree with you on the diversity thing: if you don't see art that you enjoy, then make some...because you certainly wouldn't want to control someone else's creation.
This is so ignorant. How would you feel if all the images on most cards were all black people. And how would you feel if there were tons of privileged black people, who can go buy a deck anywhere that represents themselves, had the nerve to tell you to go create cards that include your community. And what if you’re not an artist? What if you don’t even know any artists? What if you’re not even the creative type? What if you just want the privilege to buy cards that include people like you. Yes, if people of color want a diverse deck, they’ll have to do that themselves. But the very legitimate complaints about the obvious lack of diversity is not about controlling someone’s art. It’s about calling attention to an issue and finding ways to fix it.

vintage wisdom and sacred rebel are of my favs, but also even when the imagery is kind of weird (too much photoshop) the messages from the atlantis oracle are so freaking on spot, and the soul cards 2 omg!
Thank you so much for this lovely video (all of your videos are lovely btw)! I was inspired to get the Winged Enchantment oracle deck and it arrived today 😊 the cards are so beautiful and I love love love birds, so I really saw the synchronicity. But guess what? They forget to cut one of the edges of all of the cards in my copy 😐😓 so three edges are rounded and one is still the original edge. This annoys me so much. Well, will get over it one day...
Avalon, Off Topic, do we have a Pagan Challenge for 2020? I really enjoyed the last challenges which were show us your altar, and choose a letter of the alphabet and Journal about a witch word for that letter that you use in your practice. On Topic: Great decks to use. I look for decks whose messages or art work or both together really resonate with me. I just bought my first oracle deck this month and use about four Tarot decks at the moment. I like The imagery in The Black Cat Tarot, The Green Witches Tarot, The Wild Unkown deck, and I have used the Rider Waite deck for a long time. But as I find new decks I use them for different purposes.
I have no topic planned. Just my power word for the year.

Terri foss’ Oracle is amazing, but it’s ridiculous that she charges like 20$ for postage outside the USA, even if you ask her to have a cheaper option... I gave up on buying that deck for that reason. I’m eyeing fb market place like an eagle in the hope somebody will sell a used one.

I just added my email address and I am thinking about getting it. I just need to save some money. I am thinking of getting a loan from Centerlink as I only have pay so much back and it far better than getting a visa card.
If I do get this loan I won't be saying anything I will just leave the money in the bank for emergencies.

Thanks for sharing! I have several of these decks, i just got the Connected and Free , i love it! I just had to order the Sacred Creators, i was never drawn to this deck until you just showed it. It's like you said, we're drawn to different things at different times.
