the Glossy Effect looks fantastic. I see a Necron-Terminator Army in the future if the've got chrome. XD also shoutout to Chris and the primed fingertips!
I´m using the Montana Gold Colours for priming all the time. The Effect sprays like the Marble and the Metallics have a difficult surface tension like you showed but the plain colours are perfect for painting over. No issues what so ever
Great review ! The separation effect you had when applying water based paint over the Montana can be caused by the solvents still evaporating . With house paints, it is advised to wait at least 48 hours before recoating an oil based or solvent based primer with a water based (mostly acrylic) paint...
I’ve been using Montana for quite a while, like them a lot, the paint works nicely as primer and it is also very resistant to abrasion. Also the color range is huge.

Haha 😅
I often walk to my local art shop just to stare in awe at the selection of Montana spray paints they have in stock
Nice review. Spanish and german paint manufacturers produces nice quality products.
I recommand the Montana 94 Cans because they have less gaspressure there is less risk to loose some details
That gold is absolutely sick. Would be amazing on Imperial statues used for terrain, too.
Deffo agree! On some big Spacemarine statues in a ruined city.
The good thing about graffiti cans you can change the caps and use a softer one for stencilling , which might work better for miniatures
Thats something I was wondering about doing in the future 🤔 Great idea.

The gold looks amazing! I can recommend Montana Tech Varnish. Super durable for the little wardollies 😁
I will have to check it out thanks! The gold is fantastic it's a pure pigmen paints :)
Good comparison! Yet to find a decent rattle can gold. The search continues!
Great review !

That's good to know 💙
I'd love to see colour forge make it to the US.
Looks great, like vallejo liquid metal
I got that vibe too :)
Be careful if you use an oil wash or an enamel wash on those paint it will reactivate because montana gold is oil based. It is also very slow drying
That's good to know thanks!
