Vivohome contacted us and offered an item to review. Since they had some parrot-related items we were more than happy to review this cage.
This is a nice cage for a smaller bird. As I mentioned, this is a standard cage, and you would need to purchase more items for this cage. As with any standard cage you might buy. I like the stainless steel bowls, and the play area is nice.
Buster was standoffish at first. Of course, he had to finally give in and help Dad. We had a delivery during the build and the dogs had to alert us. Real life over here!
I believe it took about 30 minutes to assemble.

Looks like a great cage for cockatiels. Dad is so wonderfully patient and loving with Buster.
So adorable the way Buster watches his dad when he's working, and wants to just be with him. The bond they have is amazing, and just goes to show no matter what animal ie: bird, dog or cat you own, that as long as you love them and treat them how they deserve, you will get double the love back from them! :)

Looks like a very sturdy cage and love the play area on top for Earl. Buster really takes supervising seriously and had to be sure it was safe on top for Earl!
This morning when I uncovered them Buster was talking about work. I need to set the tripod up and video it. I uncover them early and let them have some playtime in the cage. I have coffee in my room and tidy it up while they play. It's so funny to listen to him. :)
@Buster The Cockatoo yes you need to do that! He was probably talking to himself about his employee "dad" not listening, Buster having to take over and do the work himself. You know what they say, if you want something done right, do it yourself LOL. Of course buster will never admit maybe ripping the directions and not having lots of instructions messed dad up a little but as usual, dad and you figured it out together!

It’s important to have perches of varying diameters for the health of the bird’s feet.
I find it relaxing watching Dad make or assemble things. It’s like ambient music for the eyes.🛠 Buster probably feels the same way since he’s not making a peep. Earl seems to like it, too.
Buster is always dad’s QC birdie. It’s not done right until Buster inspects it and approves. 😍😍😍

Mom's right regarding the cage door lock, my Too would be out in less than two seconds. I had to padlock my guys cage door, Too's are notorious escape artists. 😂❤️
Kudos to Ken for putting together a very complicated cage, to me!! He makes it look so easy, and it probably is for him. Very talented man!! Buster is so lucky to have this wonderful family and they are blessed to have Buster!!

This is a great cage and very sturdy. I liked that l could remove the bottom which made clean up a breeze. I also had perches on the outside of the cage on the sides which was for extra hang out time. The drawback was the instructions and some screw holes did not line up... but we managed. We LOVED the doors for the food and water and extra bowls up on the play area perches.

** It cracks me up when, especially the CAG birds fake human bodily functions. 😆 The burps, coughs, and especially toots make me lol so much.
My son plays videos with the sounds of burping and farting. He does it anytime he is visiting. Earl picks it up quickly! lol
@@BusterTheCockatoo 🤭 I noticed that around Thanksgiving when they were all there you were talking about it and showed at least one video. He definitely is a quick learner. I couldn't be trusted with a repeating bird bc mine would walk around trying to make everyone think someone tooted so I could laugh all day. 🤷🏼♀️

Hmmm, it is a bit low. Love the playpen on top, our girl didn't like the metal ladder, so we jammed a small wooden one over it. And the skirt came off due to my leg injuries, lol! It's so nice watching Buster with his Dad, chilaxing or yammering or quietly supervising. They make a great team. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. Deb of Oz.

I'd bet the picture only instructions is a cost saving measure so they don't have to print the things in three or four languages. Buster made sure Dad put it together well. I hope Earl enjoys it.

I got a similar cage for my ringneck, Jasper but I left the side catchers off cause they can be rough on human legs... BTW lovin your kitchen chairs and furniture: nice! Buster is priceless!

Hi, as a parrot owner myself, it is recommended that the size of the cage is proportional to the size of the bird, is VERY important. This cage, I assume is for your gray....is too small. The bird cannot extend his wings completely. Perfect for smaller birds. Then the space between the bars is important.

You must not have watched the entire video. I stated many times what size birds this cage was made for. Right now I am using it as a play cage for Earl. It is perfect for that. Earl has a large cage that he sleeps in. My birds are out most of the day. Again, I did mention this many times throughout the video. I just wanted to point that out.

@Buster The Cockatoo Thank you for replying. I did watch the entire video. My concern was for others who don't watch to the end or can't afford the appropriate size cage for their bird. I am for the birds who can't say I need a bigger cage... or who can't tell their owners "I need parrot chop not people treats".
I have 3 parrots and my little one loves my cell phone. One day, behind my back, he called Europe. They are not dumb and basically train us. Now is the time for the hormones, so be careful.

@@suehimmler7435 I get that and appreciate your concerns. That is why I mentioned many times that this was much too small for my parrots. This could be a sleep cage for Earl if I needed it but I was lucky that he came with a nice cage. We just went through a hormone season with Buster. They get harder every year. Earl has been a bit nippy so I think its happening with him. Thank you again and omgosh that sounds like something buster would do.

Picture-only instructions must be the new standard. I bought a doorknob/deadbolt last month and it had pic-only installation instructions, too. Could be the majority of people prefer this to the "insert A into B" type.
Next time, Buster wiil be able to put one together by himself!

I have this cage for my Quaker. Easy to clean, only complaints one wheel had to be glued in because nothing to screw it into. Rolls easily otherwise.
Nice cage, but I would prefer one that is wider than taller.
It's fine for a play stand. I prefer a horizontal cage for budgie(s). This could work for one small bird though.

@@BusterTheCockatoo OH boy, Earl will definately have fun with them than LOL! My Too has an old cage that I would LUV to replace, but all these new cages have the bowls inside and not enclosed from the outside if you follow me? That's a big reason I have not gotten him a new cage, have not been able to find one with the bowls set up this older cage has. He cannot flip his bowls, there is a bar over them in the inside of the cage, and fully enclosed on the outside with enclosures overall so the bowls stay put.
@@blaze3884 I finally found one on marketplace that is like that. Issue with that is he can open it and escape. We do have them zipped tied with SS ties. We also had to put it againt the wall. I went to your channel it says you have no content. Do you post someplace else?

I did the exact same thing with one of the panels. I got the bigger one for my cockatiel and got it all finished up and looked at it and said oh no! Had to tear half of it apart LOL we don't need no stinking directions! I should have given my African grey Congo the directions maybe I would have got it done the right way LOL

First thing I did was ditched the seed guard, or as I call it Shin slicer!
I am not a fan of them either. I know a lot of people love them. I did the same in Earls's cage. He doesn't eat much in his cage so the cleanup is not an issue for me. I sweep the room daily anyways.
I found a girl cockatoo 4 buster her name is isadora she's white w a yellow tail on her head lol I just got done seeing her lol not trying to make buster jealous lol😘😘😘😀

Those new cages are not aired out. I have a bone marrow condition and my sense of smell got incredibly a lot stronger but it's actually really harmful to your lungs I usually buy used cages I mean it's not anybody's fault but they can't smell it cuz of their means something really good but that's why I try to make people aware of it since I can smell the vocs still airing off on New cages if they're spray-painted or have sealants on them

Hello I am very good at figureing /assembling items out for over 50years. HOWEVER this was a challenging because I had to do it by my self. Yes, I agree the instructions are terrible and I agree with Buster :). I am writng to you because maybe I am wrong but there are two grates S lower bottom and G for top sitting above the pan in the top play area right? well, I can't find that in the box of the first cage I got. Now, I called Amazon and NO I can't just get item G grate they send me a whole other cage ! Now, I'm trying to find G with out taking it totally apart because I am shipping it back. This is just so frustrating so please tell were the grate " G " is supose to be ! PLEASE ! I have a grey Piewacket. Hi Buster you did a good job tearing thouse instruction up ! :) It is hard to find the answer back in the whole mess of comments etc so I do hope I can find.it if you answer. :( Thanks so much for your time!

I mean that is your opinion. I think it is fine as a play cage and for small birds
