In the uk there is a basic rule of thumb about bird cage sizes, indoors or outside. That is: for a healthy cage it should be large enough for your bird (naturally this depends on what type of bird) to have enough room to fly accross it with a minimum or 3 or 4 wing beats.
And due to the avian flu epidemic, all outdoor aviaries should be fully roofed, and have a ground level "sneeze guard", meaning a solid, totally encompassing barrier around it, that is tall enough that a big wild bird, such as a goose or Swan stood next to the aviary cannot see over or sneeze into the aviary. And last, that food and water is kept in the centre, and that the roof and sneeze guard is thoroughly washed at least twice a week.

Wich paint did you use? I have an old iron rusty cage but my fayher and i are gona sand it an paint it but don’t know whit what paint that is safe for the birds. We have 2K paint and raison paint. My birds don’t chew but climb a lot.

Nice video. I just built an aviary similar to the 3rd cage he just built but I put the screen inside to avoid the framing getting poop.. It's a lot cleaner. Thanks for your effort doing the tutorial.

Hey! I am wondering when you can remove a budgie's nest box. All the babies are just over 4 weeks old and my female has started laying again.
The oldest is the only to fledge so far with others at the peeking stage and I saw in one of your videos titled "How to Tame Baby Budgie Birds" you took the babies out when they looked around 3-4 weeks old.

My Lovebirds have total free roam 24/7 around my house. They will never be put in a cage. They have a playground in my spare bedroom and that's where they'll sleep at night.
