The Central Park Concert captures Dave Matthews Band in one of their finest moments. The benefit concert, a show staged on Central Park's Great Lawn on September 24, 2003, was recorded in stereo and 5.1 audio and shot with 30 cameras. The live shows includes 21 fan favorites like “Don’t Drink The Water,” “Two Step,” and “Warehouse.”

As a guitar player… I’m blown away that he can play what he play like this and sing flawlessly with an effortless face every time. It honestly bends my brain thinking about it.
Forreal. I don’t understand. I sing two of his songs. My voice is blown out. And when you hear him actually just speak it sounds like voice will be dead or flat. Nope. Just starts belching lol I watched an interview. He said he was younger he was told he was so good at singing that even when it’s wrong it’s good. And that pretty much sums him up 😂❤

Indeed..but don't forget how& where, whom they found their brilliant, jam band sound. My personal opinion, they made TOP 3 on my list..most definitely BEST SEEN LIVE, Prooves they are true artists.Seen them live @ Central Park..bought the DVD concert. Saw so many family& friends Sorry 4 the novel..lol

Dave matthews is the greatest of all time, truly a blessing to have his music. Love his concerts every year. Always a great show. Took my daughter to her first concert , now she's hooked. The best time ever. Thank you Dave. Xo. Samantha and Tabitha.

I've never seen such an innovative group of professional musicians ever. Very original. And the constant changing time signatures are amazing. That's usually a drummers nightmare. Watch the drummer. Doesn't hardly break a sweat. Amazing. And there's no surprise that DM is worth over $300 million.

easily. i saw them back in 2008 and i was blown away, felt like i was listening to their cd. and everything sounded so clear and crisp.

I’d love to see them live. Haven’t listened to this for years. Loved them in my teens
Same. Such an amazing band. I’m 40yo back in school and it saddens me how my young cohorts have no idea who Dave Matthew. Blows my mind that a band who was once so staggeringly popular has become utterly unknown and foreign to 20 year olds. I got to see them in Memphis at the Beale Street Music festival in 2001 or 2000; as you can imagine they were amazing.
Go see them! I'm 56 years old and saw them for the first time in Sept. 2021. Been three more times since then. GO! you won't regret it!

Actually he wont be back. Buddy Strong on keys has more than picked up the load that Boyd had. He also wasn't progressing like the rest of the band. Go see them. They are always getting more proficient at their craft and it keeps things interesting for Dave which is paramount to keeping the band together. Remember a couple years ago??? Dave needs to keep it fresh or he gets bored. Boyd wasn't progressing so it was a blessing in disguise.
He was easily the weakest part of this band. His time isn't great, and his soloing is at the skill level of a highschool band student.
