    I am interested in upgrading my T6.1 California Ocean's suspension. Springs to bring the ride height down by 35-50mm and perhaps coilovers if my budget allows. I am interested what your clients do with their old / standard suspension once removed? I appreciate the age and condition of the old suspension will have a big impact on price, but for say a 12 month old Cali, what would the likely range be please? I presume most people sell on eBay or the likes, but would appreciate any feedback you are able to offer.

      The are the best of the budget coilovers, but they are budget coilovers. You are removing £1000+ on genuine VW parts and replacing them with a full set up that retails for £275, think what they must have cost to produce. Having said that stance are very good value, out of all the copy’s and budget options, they are the best in our opinion.

    Why do people lower their vans other than to make them look cool. On a new 6.1 is the standard ride height optimal ?

    • @THQAutomotive
      @THQAutomotive  Před 3 lety +1

      Standard ride height feels terrible. I remember the day my T6.1 arrived and I took it down the road. It felt terribly compared to a van lowered on quality coil overs. So bouncy, wallowing around and not comfortable at all on standard suspension. It went straight from there to the ramp for air suspension.
