Time saving and impressive addition to any meal. So simple to make, even children can put this together. Don't buy it in the store-make it at home.

I'll try that, thanks
Nice Sharing
Amazing dish! I made one with and without pepper flakes, both of em are equally good! Thank you!
i like taegu and i will go look for dried polluck in the korean store i hope you enjoyed your stay in hawaii
Yes, I really did. Mahalo 😄.
Easy and delicious! Wow, your official taste tester went to Hawaii, lucky guy!
Austin goes to Hawaii! Cool 🤙🏽🌺
That was easy to make
It’s so nice to know this recipe❣️🤙thank you 🙏
I love eating this popular appetizer...I could eat a whole bunch all by itself or with beer 🍺.
Great pupu😋💖👍🏽
Yes, today is Friday and that's a good pupu idea. I'm heading out to KTA for that and some poi and of course my favorite drink. Thank you!
KTA...I wish they were on O'ahu.
@@BraddahBruce I've got family out there and they wish the same. Every trip here, first stop is KTA!
Yumm
it looks deeeelicious! it's too bad my mom doesn't like seaweed, or i'd make this for the whole family.
Just omit the seaweed.
No need to put seaweed or anything extra. In Hawaii at the swap meets is where i had my first experience and it was just squid with the sauce and I promise you, it was so good I circled back and got 10 more bags to bring home to California.. But I ate 3 bags before I got home🙊.. Has your mom tried korean style seaweed? It has sesame oil and salt flavor and is more thin than the Japanese kind
@@warroom17 oh i see! i was worrying omitting the seaweed would lose some essential flavors, but if it's still good then i'll believe it. also, korean style seaweed is unfortunately really hard to get where i live 😭
@@funnyfroggiealert1816 oh no, not at all! Mostly it's texture and its health benefits, but even pine nuts too.. If you've gone to Korean restaurants, sometimes it's in their banchan(side dishes) and depending on how fancy the place is, it will have those extras or it will just be the sauce and cuttlefish or fish even.
Aloha aunty! I’m original from Oahu but live in Arizona now. I have seen Austin wear his diamondbacks shirts a few times. Must b a fan??Teagu was easier making than I thought. I will give it a try. Tfs 🤙🏽🌸
Taegu is easy but you may have trouble finding the pollock sticks which are precooked, cut and ready to go. I got it from one of the Korean stores on Oahu. They normally don't sell small quantities but the lady let me have a small container.
Sorry, don't know about the shirt and the b a fan. He's not always here so can't ask him.
The Taegu I'm used to eating in Hawaii has a lot more honey so that it's all stuck together and I've never seen nori or pine nuts in it. I will have to try this version. Mahalo for sharing
I change a lot of recipes to my own liking.
Appetizers? Sorry, I don't see that category on your posted link. Help?
Sorry, having technical difficulties, we're working on it. Will let you know when we fix it.
The recipe is now on the website under appetizers. Sorry for the inconvenience.
@@HawaiisPickleLady Thank you so much! (no need to apologize) Need to go to Palama Market to get some pollock. Looks ono!
You forgot to say it’s good with beer!
Sorry.
Where can I get those green and white pour spouts with lid on those bottles???
Not sure what you mean. I usually use mason type jars for my foods or any plastic container or jar from something else.
@@HawaiisPickleLady The bottle that holds the soy sauce, oil, and sesame oil has a green and white pour spout that it pours from. Where do you get those pour spouts? I have looked everywhere...
Driving around in my neck of the woods?
Was on Kaneohe.
Can you link the cod you used?
They don't use codfish anymore. Look for pollack sticks, ready to go, just put it in a bowl and mix with everything.
