Hey scott would you be willing to sell that northern tool soft wash kit sense you upgraded I don’t have the 500 for a new one
@@country6368 nah I’m gonna keep it man.
@@country6368 i got mine brand new never used if your still looking for one
Question. Can you hook water from the house w/ a hose, to the water side, if you don’t have a water tank?
@@apexprepper378 depends on your gallons per minute if the faucet doesn't have enough flow for the machine. It will burn up
Finally ! Damn,I've been watching CZcams for 2 days for a manifold explanation 😢 Too many people trying to tell us how smart they are😂 Thank you!
Great info - plain and simple
I likes it plain and simple

You’re very welcome.
That is the clearest explanation I have heard on mixing SH ratios. Thank you so much.
Thanks for the heads up I’ll know more when I pick mine up.
Thanks for the breakdown on it. Yes, it all makes sense.
Great information man !
Great video again Scott, not seen a blend manifold over here in the UK as yet but keep up the good work dude. Go with the flow!

Thank you and god bless 🙏
Scott you have helped so much, thank you! Just ordered one from Cody!
Awesome!!!
This was real simple and helpful for me as I just finished building my skid thats dedicated to softwashing. Thanks for your content!
Thank you so much bro
Thanks man !! Very helpful - simple and appreciated. We are converting to Blend over Batch.
Great info brother! I just bought a blend manifold too and can't wait to put it to use
Rock on!!!
Bomb as info bro
I've been using a batch system but after seeing your explanation of the manifold I too need to change. That is so simple. Thanks for the video.
That Skid looks Awesome in your garage.... Hopefully one day I've got one in mine
You will
THANK YOU ! Subscribed!
Whaaaaattttssss. Uuuuuppppp buddy congratulations on the skid i want one. Of those one day soon

Thank you.
I'm so glad to see how fast you have recovered from your health setback. I have been praying for you!!!!.
Thanks a bunch
Bought the south east soft wash trailer a month ago can’t wait to get it
And just got a northern tool softwash unit to start jobs now
Nice video Scott!!
Thanks
I got the smaller mini pro and had no idea when my valves were open or closed since they were not pulling nothing. Fast forward, got it working now just needed to figure out my math. Thanks brother plain and simple.
I just ordered this rig from them! Can't wait till it's ready. Gonna be a 22 hour drive to pick it up though.
Wow. Pace yourself loo
Wow thanks for making it clear. I got it.
Cool
Great system keep it up
Thank u
I just built a box with GF valves. Basically all the same parts. I did it knowing I should have made the top of the manifold 3/4 inch but, I did exactly what others are doing 1/2 inch the whole way but, I did do it right down to the Noco charger I just did it myself and I am glad I did. (Even though I would not "eyeball" it so much on the next one). It is the way to go!
This was a good one sir. Very informative
yea man
Great video simple
good info
Man if I could shake your hand I would, this was much needed info. Jesus bless you
Yessir
It's not you, it's me homie lol. You trying to help though. That's cool.
I built one a couple months ago and can’t believe I waited because I didn’t think it would be that much of a difference.
Bet you learned lol
Awesome video! Quick question - What brand on the valves or what to look for when searching on Amazon or the net?
Thank you!
Yeeeees sir thank you for the info brotha!
Thank you for that KISS explanation
Keep it simple stupidddddd
Excellent presentation thank you. May i ask where you bought your blend system? or recommend?
What's up Scott, from down south LA. Can you do a deeper tour of your new skid. Great content. Keep it up bro!!
Yep
After 4yrs of batch mixing I added a blend manifold to my rig this year. Today will be the 1st day I use it 2.9.22.
Hope this video helped
@@ScottCleansIt it went well but I don't know if the soap was working the way it was supposed to. I washed a house and driveway and only went down about 3inch in the soap bucket.
@@chriss6837 don’t always need a lot
Gotta say, the Batch Buster stands out. It's making a difference.
Need Cody to hook me up with a skid! You earned it bro 🙌
I batched for a year tell I got my Alumni Max in Feb. Like you said I won't go back by choice.
Yep
Awesome tips! I just started pressure washing on my channel
Nice
You are smooth brother, nice video thanks for explaining how it works so easy to understand .... Whattttzzzzzzaaaaaaauuupp!
Great tutorial Scott. I would like to get one but damn they're expensive.
You can get them with a lease. All payments are 100% tax deductible
Excellent explaination
Well sir you explained it first lol
@@ScottCleansIt another cool thing with having a metering valve on the water line,
If you do have to use Walmart bleach in the tank, (6%) you can compensate for that by shutting the water valve off incrementally so you can still get your desired percentage at the wand.
@@southeastsoftwash4020 factualsssssss
What do you use for video editing? It looks like a pretty awesome video. Do you have contact info for your proportional
Great video Scott!! Love watching your videos and just picked up my skid from southeast softwash! But i need your advice on blend manifold… I’m using 12.5 sh but just curious on the difference services to clean what you use your soap valve on?? Everyone just say it’s a personal preference but wan to make sure im using enough soap for certain surfaces
Don’t overthink. You don’t have to have soap on surfaces that aren’t steep. The steeper it is just bump your soap up
Just found you WHASSUUUPPP Brother!!!
Yo
I have a northern tool I just take the tube out and put it in a 5 gallon bucket to flush the system if I still have a lil bit of chemicals in the tank
That works
Subscribed! Great explanation! Even a cave man should be able to set up a ratio. Now....when do we see that new skid in action?
This week
Have you thought about putting lines from water tank to the bleach line and soap line. That way you can wash out the proportioner? Essentially you have ball valves on those two, so you can shut the water off when you need to actually use bleach and soap
No
This pays for itself!
Yep
I hope Coty can find someone to make some round indicator plates to go behind the blend manifold knobs.
If you get a chance look at Midwest Equipment. They have a Hydro-Mixer that is design like the one you have but with the indicator plate (increments). It's a pretty cool design.
I wish you the best with your new equipment.
Michael C - (WA)
Thank you
No need Michael,
We are working on something much bigger than a indicator plate....
Stay tuned
@@southeastsoftwash4020
Oh, pretty cool. Can't wait to see it.
I hope i didn't offend. I just thought the indicator plate was a pretty cool feature for the people who are having a hard time with adjusting the blend manifold knobs.

@@michaelc7283 no worries bro! We got a big improvement coming that’s gonna change the industry for the better
So I was doing some math and looked up washing detergent at the store 2 gallons of liquid detergent is roughly 10 dollars so for a 25 gallon container is 125 dollars so do you dilute the soap by adding it to water first or do you use straight soap and use what percentage you like also how many gallon tank is your soap and SH just trying to lean man it’s kind of confusing but you explain things very well
Yiu have to dilute it. The soap I use is about 1 cup to 14 gallons
Great info! Thank you so much. 1 question. Do you feed the laundry detergent straight to your manifold? Or do you mix it with water before it goes into the manifold? I ask because i thought laundry detergent would be too thick to flow into the manifold or does it flow into it without issue?
Bleach has a line, soap has line, water has line. The manifold is where it mixes
The mold in S.Florida (Miami-Dade) literally bakes onto roofs like a hard shell on an M&M candy. On 90% of most roofs require a few costs of 12.5% of SH. Houses and concrete can just be downstreamed.
Danggggg
Youll learn that as you get farther in your business you will need a little pressure on some stuff, using just the 12v and mixer valve isnt a do it all system. We used it for everything when i first started and now we only use it for roofs. For example some lichen and thick algae we use a white tip jrod tip on brick that will not come off with just sh only. Removing dirtdaubers with an 8gpm shooter tip is a life saver and quick. We only downstream now with the 8gpm.
He’s got a 5.5gpm PW right there on the skid...
Thanks Scott, can you downstream with a blend manifold? If so how would you hook it up Thanks
i havent seen anyone do that yet
You look like Carl from Sling Blade on that thumbnail!!!!!!
Mmmmmmhhhhhmmmmmm
@@ScottCleansIt you ought notta saaaaaid that
Hey Scott, do you have any experience with the DIY version using plain old PVC ball valves? I'm sure these are much more suited for the application, but dang those jokers are high!
No ifea
Hi Scott! New subscriber. Im new in the business. Do you mind telling me what soap from Walmart is that you exactly get ? Thanks!
I use professional soap now but the cheapest laundry soap
i'm having an issue with water back flowing through my soap valve and back into my soap tank.. thoughts? I have the same valves and setup as you
See if there's plastic in the check valve
Very cool! How much bleach do you usually keep in your tank? Considering you dont have to mix and make batches, it doesnt hurt to keep a healthy amount of bleach allways in the tank right? Thanks for the vids man, i have learned alot!
I refill once every week or every 2 weeks depending on how much we need.
Question, do you need an additional water tank to soft wash or can you run it directly off the water spigot
I have a water tank, soap tank and bleach tank with a hose to keep the tank full that we run to the customers water supply
Where do you flush the pump after you’re done with the job or do you flush the pump while rinsing? Also, why do you run 2 separate 12v systems? What is the second one for?
Somewhere safe on the property, while rinsing and it's a backup side or 2 man setup
Can I ask a question. It's 340am in Tennessee I can't sleep im binge watching your videos. Why don't you flush out your bleach line ??? I have the expensive George Fisher proportioner that's very over priced junk. If I don't flush the bleach line I have to replace it a lot
.
No need with plastic internals. The only thing that it can damage is the little spring in the check valve.
Why does the soft wash have two 12v pumps?
Thanks for your videos! How much laundry detergent do you use per batch on your North star machine?
It doesn't take much.
@@ScottCleansIt 😄 not the response I was looking for but I still appreciate taking the time to respond.
@@simpleman7727 it's an honest answer. Don't overthink it. It's soap.
New sub here and just starting my business. Can you explain how you would use two pumps and manifolds? Two guns at the same time? Do they have a single system for a solo operation?
They are 2 separate systems powered by 2 separate batteries. They are plumbed into the same tanks
Great education where did you get those cool shirts made ?

It all pumps through you 5.5 12 volt?
