I remember the video (a bit ago) when you were explaining how you told your family about your five year plan and what you were going to do and you said they kind of giggled at your wide eyed plans! Well I think you have accomplished your five year plan and then some! Good on ya Chris, your the kind of man that makes this country such a great place thanks for sharing your dreams with us all!
Wow, have I been watching that long? I remember you building your new house and talking about your mom being concerned about you living in a mobile home. It's been great watching your growth. Guess you're done working with John. Question...can you move everything in one day to your next job?
I remember you started with an empty field next door and then they built a house right up close. Not only did you give them the back of a barn to look at but also went on to make plenty $ on developing the field with new roads and fixing the pond. 👍🏻👍🏻
Chris, your method of planning and working your jobs is great! I like how you explain each process of what you're doing. You're a good teacher/instructor for us armchair would like to be's......👍👍. It's truly amazing to see a young man with the knowledge that you have. Congratulations on your accomplishments ! You're still enjoyable to watch. You've created some nice ponds during the time I've been following your videos. Please keep on making videos, I'll see you in the next one! 😎👍👍🙏♥️🇺🇲
Yes!I remember that too, he gave us the grand tour of the old double wide(?)and all the doggies yup that was a good one. Gave us some insight into Chris’ life. Love seeing what you’re up to today and makes want to get some seat time in no no no I’m retired keep the outstanding work and be safe out there!
What great progress. Robert is such a huge asset. It was fun watching you both work separately and together, always being in coordination. Thanks for sharing this, Chris. Watching your builds come together is exciting, educational, and very enjoyable. While I'm sad that we don't get to see John anymore (except for the rare occasion of hauling for you), I'm happy for you that you are able to be totally independent.
I have been following your channel for a few years now Chris and I have watched you slowly expand your fleet. To see that 330 and D7 work together is so impressive. You should be so proud of what you have achieved. I have so much respect for people like you who aren’t scared of hard work. You deserve to be successful 🇬🇧
You must have good hearing, I have bad hearing and I miss alot of what he says. I have the most trouble when he is operating the excavators@@robinparkes988
I've enjoyed watching Chris grow his business from old equipment to a mix of new and refurbish taking on bigger jobs as the years have gone by. Definitely a joy to see how much faster he can move dirt now with the 330 and the D7. Can't wait to watch the 9 acres pond build with the 330 and D7.
In the early 1800s in N Carolina some alluvial gold was discovered in streams. This was mined out and there were a few underground mines. A bit of a rush, but not important.
In total.production it may seem minor . But , it was far from unimportant . BTW the Reed mine itself shut down finally in 1912 . A Mint was established in Georgia . The rush led to tensions with the Cherokee , as much of what was discovered in Georgia was on Cherokee land . This led to the Indian Removal Act . The Carolina and Georgia rushes drew thousands of immigrants , many from the mines in Cornwall England . Their considerable skills and expertise in hard rock mining would prove invaluable both in the Southern Appalachians and later out West . Much of the huge recoveries of gold and other minerals out West would never have happened without the expertise of those immigrants from Cornwall.. So , maybe they didn't recover millions of ounces ( on record ) , but , the implications and circumstances made a substantial mark on this country's future, politically and economically . And the old timers did not find it all . Far from it .
This pond construction is definitely the best equipped, 2 operating 6 different machinery is priceless, 😊😊😊.when viewed this will definitely impress a multitude of potential clients, 😊😊😊.
Hey Chris, I bet that D7 has pushed more dirt in the last 3 days than it has in the previous 25 years. The D7 just took it in stride while looking good doing it. Your 330 didn't waste any time digging that core trench either. I wonder how much more quickly you could have done Geoff's 5-acre pond with those two pieces of equipment. You and Robert did allot of great work today. Stay safe out there.
I’ll guarantee the C&C boys are watching these vids and damn proud of their rebuild of the “Big 7”. Rare treat to watch a machine you repaired working hard on a job site! And does anyone else think a decent sized wheel loader would be a good addition to the fleet? Chris seems to move a lot of material fairly short distances, needing two machines, where a loader would do it all in one go.
You accomplished quite a bit on building that core trench for the dam, looks like everything going the way you wanted it to.continue doing your thing 👍👍👍😎😎😎
How many machines does it take to build a 1 acre pond? All of them!!! You have come a long way since I first started watching you busting beaver dams in a swamp someplace working off mats. Thanks for sharing.
Cool . Dam construction / soil explanation was interesting . Kinda answered a few questions at once . 17,636 views in an hour , nice . It's good people are interested in this type of thing .
How many pieces of equipment? THE FLEET! Options - got to have options! Great to see Robert - even from afar! He does honest work. You got to run nearly all the equipment today - things are shaping up!
It is good you can hear every word he says. The issue here is how he can improve his sound. You have to agree that you hear changes from when he is in the cab and when he gets out holding the camera and speaking into the mic. Chris could improve his videos if he wore a lapel mic. costing $75 that is connected to the camera. This means everyone would hear him as if we were standing next to him. I stand by my recommendation@@GoBlue79
You definitely have knowledge beyond me, how you see and plan a pound or lake by just looking a at a property…wow Then with your expertise, it happens beautifully. I wait every day for your videos. It takes my mind off these crazy times. Thank you true American!
Looking good as usual Chris. I can imagine if all the dirt you have moved in the past twenty years were piled up the hill would be the tallest in the state.
Hey Chris when I started watching you about a year or so ago I didn't know how to build a pond now I do. There's a lot more to do building a damn than just pulling up a bunch of dirt to hold the water. I really love watching you build a pond or lake and also maintaining a pond I watch all your videos and I have watched as far back as I have found date wise on your videos
@@DEJones71 His older videos, 2+ years back, were noisier. His latest video cameras have much better mics, and I could hear him quite well in the machines. Even better when he's talking while walking about with his camera. I thinks it's much easier for Chris to just rely on the video cameras mics since he jumps on and off his machines so often while working alone. If that allows hims to do his mostly daily videos, I'd say it's a good trade off.
Damn that D7 is a horse doesn’t have any trouble with a blade full of material. Years ago I ran one with a tree spade and it definitely got the job done. Great Content a joy to watch, brings back memories 😊👍
Oh i do think the D-7 is fitting right in with the other equipment from the looks of it sure can bush a decent bit of dirt and you already mastered its power right on Chris 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
I would think it has to be nice to have all the equipment available you have on the site to give you the options of how best to get the project accomplished in a timely and efficient manner. I would also think this is a nice sized pond to give you the chance to experience how these machines can best be used in concert with each other to use of their strengths in a given situation before you get to the 5+ acre ponds. I also think, not that it matters, you have exactly what you need for the pond and dam projects on site with you right now, for the size of your operation currently, just sayin, thanks for the update, really shaping up, looks good, and is a quality build in progress.
I remember moving from a backhoe to a minitrackhoe, then going to just a trackhoe about a 120 felt like the bucket was a mile away. It did take a day or two to get used to it. I ken you have more hours then me but did it you time to get used to the distance.
Cris that dirt look 100% better then some yard in my neighborhood people are just to lazy to maintain their property I alway enjoy how you take pride on every job you do👍
Yes Sir, Having those Bigger Machines now is really making a difference , when it comes to moving dirt !! For sure... Hell, it's nice having most of your machines there on site, you can hop on whatever is needed and get too it !! lololol... I'm really liking that New 7 you got Chris, Man she's a Beast !! I mean will get some dirt moved in a hurry now ... lolol... Great as always Chris, Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next , as always...lolol...
As fun as the D-7 looks I still think you can move twice as much dirt with the 330. There just isn’t anything like an excavator to get the job done in my opinion! Love the 330!

G'day Chris. Next time your doing maintainence on the packer a bit of an adjustment on the steering wouldn't go astray. It's amazing how good those machines are. They create there own mini earthquake's.

Thanks Chris for mentioning how wide the bucket on the 330 is , and the width of the blade on the Komatsu , it helps to put things in perspective.
