Spoilt, that’s what we are! Thanks for putting the effort in to get so many quality videos to us.
Can not express strongly enough how much your attention to detail is appreciated! If everyone had your work ethic, life on this rock would be so much easier!!
Exactly what I was thinking too! Chris's standards are as close to perfection as possible. Truly inspiring.
Yes! They don’t use rollers up here. My area. We also had a piece of sheet steel for anti Seep collar.Actually two of them I believe.
I very much agree. He seems to be able to see the complete project before starting and when the unknown hits its like plan B is always at hand so the end results always in the customers best interest long term.Pleasure to watch him do his work
Total agreement. It's the old, "get it done as quickly and cheaply as possible". Screw something up? Screw it. It's done, who cares. No one takes pride in their work anymore. I ordered a candle from Amazon. It came in a cardboard box...and not a single piece of packing material. So needless to say, it was nothing but broken glass when it got to me. That's just one small example. We ordered Pizza Hut a week ago. We always order online and take it home, right. Well, we got there and the wings we ordered weren't ready. They actually were, but the idiots gave our order to someone else. So I decided to wait for them to redo our entire order. After all of that, we get wings with no sauce (supposed to be honey BBQ), the pizzas were almost raw, and they gave us cheese sticks instead of garlic cheese bread. I realize that's not too important, but it's bleeding into every industry. Not just food or online shopping.
I was raised differently than that. If you get paid to do a job, you do it right, regardless of any setback or expense you have to eat. When Chris leaves a job, it's done right, and it looks better than ever, even if he has to do something that wasn't in the plan. That's how you build a client base, get repeat customers, and have a solid reputation, all of which leads to being able to charge more than the guys who don't care. Sorry for the rant. It just chaps my azz sometimes.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊
You really do have the hands of a surgeon when you’re at the controls of that excavator. Amazing work!
LOL. A dirt surgeon. That for sure.
You think he is good on video . You should see him in person run that machine
@@Todd.Roberts your lucky to work with him Todd, it must be a pleasure and honor to just watch him doing what he does so well. Buti know you can't just sit and watch him because he wouldn't be happy with you, he likes to work and he wants you to do your job also I bet. Thanks Todd see you in the video lol
I watched episode 5 of Dopesick last night. I showed a doctor, who is addicted to Oxycontin, doing a minor procedure on a patient's knee and butchering the poor patient something awful. This is fiction based on reality, so I guess not all doctors have steady hands. Dopesick is one of the better TV programs I've seen in a while, and worth watching.
I am pretty sure he is a Borg....
I see lots of pride in your work. Not to many contractors I've known in the last 35 years would crawl inside a 36 to see if the connection was seated in a bell. Great job Chris.
Perfection. Truly a culvert that even
Post 10 would approve of! That is one huge project.
LOL @21:25 I said "oh sweet now it's a Post10 video"
Chris, you've had me hooked for quite some time. I love all your vids, but your pond builds and rebuilds are definitely my favorites. I find myself checking daily to see if the next episode is out! Thank you sooooooo much for taking the time to record, edit, and upload these videos!!! Love them!!!!!
That first piece of pipe was like threading a needle. Man and machine working in harmony, Thanks for sharing Cris.. Stay safe.
Been a fan since 2014. You own this genre on CZcams because of your dedication to your craft. Thank you for letting us watch you work.
The King, the artist, the true pond master
Fixes the damn & prevents the disaster
You mimics, you tryers, pretenders to the throne
Take heed, take note, there are no equals known
So watch, watch & learn, take note every day
& bow down to the king, the master, the shape shifter of clay
Nice vid Chris, keep em comin 😁👍
Nice poem!
Never ceases to amaze me the tricks you have learned over the years when you have to work alone. Impressive bit of working in this video. Enjoyed!
I stumbled onto Chris's channel at the beginning of the pandemic around March 2020. At the time I wasn't much into CZcams. Ever since, I've watched every one of his videos to date and have gone back years in his arsenal of videos. He is by far the best narrator-commentator and operator of excavators. My knowledge of excavators, ponds, dam building, clay, downing trees, etc. was zero and has risen easily 100 fold. All my days start watching his newly uploaded video. Thank you Chris.
That was an amazing demonstration of operator skills! It usually takes 3 people to do what you did by yourself.
That's not a bad days work for one man on his own.
Thanks for taking the time to let us join you.
Its so enjoyable to watch someone do something they love. Thank you Chris for sharing.
It is so refreshing and uplifting to see a man take pride in his equipment and not to say not meany men take as much pride in his work as you do.
Your videos should really make your customers appreciate the care and skill that goes into their projects!
Excellent content, commentary, and finished product-a typical day on this channel! I love it!
Coming along nicely. much bigger project than I expected. awesome work.
All I can think about is Post10 watching this mastery level of culvert/overflow installment and being excited like a kid on christmas day.
I feel emotionally invested in the 10 acre pond. Its been such a journey.
Good work by the way. Always watching you with my construction buddies. They told me they learn a lot by watching your videos.
Chris, I started following you about two years ago and have watched all of your videos from about five years ago, but THIS series on the 10 Acre Dam has me TOTALLY addicted! 🤣🤣🤣 You do an incredible job, sir.
Installation looks like going well, another part of the project getting done.homeowner should be very happy with the results.you’ve done a lot in the short time you have had.great video, great job.keep it up and carry on 👍👍👍😎😎😎
It’s been a fascinating project, this one! I know there’s still work to do but you can really see it taking shape now. I can’t wait to see the finished job!
Great idea of video on everything for the general contractor and owner to see it's done 100% right.
For an earth moving channel, shovels are a mighty rare sight. Perks of being the boss!
Thoroughly addicted to this channel because I can live out my Tonka Truck fantasies through you!
Thanks for all the great content!
Just want to let you know,I appreciate all you go thru, including all the armchair excavators comments out there,….I’m not going to second guess you on anything!
I think you do an excellent job filming and your commentary is informative and entertaining, thankyou for what you do!
It gave me some Post10 vibes when you crawled into the pipe.
Your jobs are getting larger and this one comes close to a mining category job! This video does show how competence using a machine like is so important. Thanks from UK.
Looks like it dried out really well for you today Chris.
It's fascinating watching you work on a project like this and seeing all the knowledge and tricks of the trade you have picked up over the years . I'm full of admiration for your work ethic and the way you can make such skilled and complicated jobs look so easy .. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into filming , editing , and uploading your videos .
That looks so good Chris. ☺What a productive day you had.🙂 Thanks for the video, and the inside the pipe check shots. 😉Be well.😊
Chris I’m sure you are actually part of your machines almost as if you are wired together because everything is perfection, big job this one under bad conditions, brilliant.
Always interesting to watch the progress of the projects, and how you execute the plan. thanks for taking us along.
Clever trick about the width of the stream of water. Really enjoying this project!
One per week would certainly be more representative of the actual job as experienced from your perspective. But Mike, wherever and however you go, we are right there with you.
I respect you have a full time career, a beautiful family, a homestead, and this side job. Those are just a few things a young man has on his plate.
We know this is being done properly by The Pond Master. The joins look pretty much perfect. Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰
Good work, my good and faithful man. Well done, and thanks for sharing. Chris, you are an honorable man. You deserve all of the success that you enjoy. We live your work.
Impressive skills on the pipe placement!
Great video! I can appreciate your attention to detail and striving for perfection.
Just the right piece equipment for each job makes it more enjoyable.
Great work, these bigger jobs are always fun to watch. Come on 5 acre pond
Wheel compactor is a sweet tool for the mini, really gets the job done correctly. Great job well done.
Its been a great series of videos watching your methodology as you're working through the project.
Am I number fifty? That chain unhooked! LOL... Great Work sliding those pipes on solo! And the view inside! Slick...
Chris, you need to watch out for the chain Gremlins you never know when they will show up, very tricky they are! Looking good as always!
You sure can complete a lot of work in a days time by yourself. Also watching you at the controls is amazing. Man and machine as one!
Watching your videos is so educational and fun. Take care and be safe.
Look how sunny and bright it is today for you too! Not raining, snowing, or cold! 😀
Good job Chris! Looks great. That was a lot of mud. Keep up the good work. Be safe.
Chris I have watched you do this a many of time by your self just a real great job.
Great videos Chris, I look forward to them. I guess I don’t get out much? Thanks
Very nice .. clean and great detail , ALL WITH A 1 PERSON CREW !
Finally the job is one step closer to finish. Love the off ramp. :) Thank you and have a wonderful day.
It's like watching ballet dance so graceful, .... in a manly way! 🤣😮🤪😝
just love seeing chris fix and build ponds.
Been waiting for this large overflow since the start of this 10 acre pond now to sit back and watch it.
How fun was this!! And all by yourself too!! 👏👏
Starting at 8:30 I kept thinking, "Where's that long arm when ya need it". Great video, thanks❣️
Chris operating machines is a pleasure to watch. One especially respects his abilities when one watches other channels. No comparison to his skills.
Great job Chris , you got a lot done by yourself my friend! Thanks for sharing and I hope you get some rest tonight, you deserve it brother! 👌🏻👌🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yep !! That pipe couldn't have turned out any better, it looked really nice !! Yeah, get some more lifts in and get rid of all that mud, and junk dirt, and you can get back to cutting more clay and hauling again !! Man, that little sheeps foot for the mini really looks like it works good !! From the side looks like it packs several inches at a time, and leaves the top loose so the next lift can mix in , I like it !! Another part of the job , well done Chris !! Have a Great New week Man, and have a Great Evening, and, On too the Next !!
I belive that this dam has been expanded before and the pipe that you had "run out of" was from the first version. So when they first expanded the dam they buried it.
You not only do this. But you do It alone! Incredible! Man, I'm honestly blown away!
No actor's or actress in Hollywood can compare to you Chris, you doing a real work perfectly. Your work is exciting to us, love your channel ❤
Very impressive that you can set all that pipe by yourself. Nice work!!
Great watch to your plan all coming together, making it look easy as.
such beautiful scenery.
not operator error! always a pleasure watching your work!
Once again, you prove that you are the man with pond dams.
I am interested in the overflow pool. Looks like a good place for a lot of those concrete chunks and pieces.
That is a lot of work, but DONE RIGHT !
I love how you showed more of the process this time.
Why did this pond need 3 concrete riser structures piled on each other? Cuz the pond is deep?
As always coming together beautifully love to watch an artist at work is the customer going to wrap the outlet of the pipe just curious I can't wait to see just how beautiful that pond is going to be it just takes time I understand good luck
It’s an amazing thing. The more you practice the luckier you get. Thanks for posting.
Dawns here ☀️
That was the hardest part of the whole job, getting the overflow set in with the right fall and secured in place. Now it's the haul dirt to build up the dam where the overflow is then rebuild the spillway section.
Putting pipes together, does not look like a one man job! I admire your skills and enjoy your common sense explanations. Of how it all works together as you build this damn.
Breaking news from inside the pipe - Letsdig18 reports the pipe coupling has 'nice joints'. It must takes hours to quote for a project such as this - so many elements required. Great video.
Looks great and should work well, thanks for the ride along.
First-class all the way!
It's really starting to show what it's going to look like. Looking Good
I have no knowledge in this sort of job but with your videos I can understand what you are doing and why you are doing it. I can appreciate the great work!
A True expert with enough shared details that makes it worth watching, ive been on the channel for a few years now at least
@@Stratos53100 you are on the channel??? Cool! What's it like working with Chris? What do you do there? Looks like it would be a lot of fun...
@@TheBrushcutter No i meant as a subsc, watching it all, im in Texas a little far for me to drive
@@Stratos53100 I know. I was just having a bit of fun. 🤣
That was GREAT !!!
It's looking good. Almost there. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
Chris you do really nice work 🇺🇲 I always enjoy watching your videos and learning something new 🇺🇲
Been loving this series, that's a big project
Very interesting 41 plus minutes. ' Talk' about a one man job!.
Good stuff Chris.
Organized and efficient day!!! You are so good at communicating and explaining each step. So appreciate this.. Enjoying this project!!! May God bless you and keep you safe.
I TOTALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊
I don’t think I’ve ever seen such huge spoil piles on one of your jobs before Chris.
Mr. Chris, you are more than a perfectionist, you are an artiste'.
Nice job ,Chris 👏
Way to go Chris down pack my ex father in law us to do this kind of work he taught me how to run all kind of equipment love watching and learning more
When you were crawling into the pipe I was thinking to myself, no Chris don't go to the light at the end of the tunnel! Lol...
Great video, I love watching your videos, I study the details to learn your techniques. I may learn something useful for later in life
Professionally installed by Master Craftsman Chris. Heck of a fine job sir, especially alone.
Because of your video's I decided to rent a 3 tons mini excavator and started doing my own rather large garden with it, laying pipes, digging, grading, removing trees. Once you get the hang of it it is real fun to do. Trusting myself now to work inches away from my house. You make great video's!
I missed my calling. I love this channel!
Really good work! Especially not to have a "ground man".
Hello from Ohio. Enjoy the videos. Keep up the good work!!
Don't crawl into the light Chris, we need your video's. 😊
