Bulls fan who grew up seeing the second three-peat, the intro is so nostalgic. I remember seeing Jordan's last game in Philly and Ray Clay came out of nowhere during the visitor's introduction and scared me 😂
Jerry Krause was being a little garden tool because he didn’t want the spotlight on MJ when he returned to play against Chicago and still felt Salty about the fact he wasn’t getting the credit for the Bulls titles back in the 90s… However he (should and probably does) get credit for making the Bulls the worst team after MJ left and that’s for sure.
Fun fact, the Allen Parsons Project were quite famous in the USSR, and their albums were even printed locally under license. My dad grew up in the USSR, so he had no interest in basketball or basic knowledge of the NBA but was a big fan of the band. When we watched The Last Dance together, the only thing he recognized was the song. Everything else, the Bulls, MJ's greatness, championships, storylines, etc., was entirely new for him.
He was 100% right, if he'd would've done that at Chicago the roof would blown off, maybe that's what management was really doing protecting the United Center.😂😂😂
Respect and huge flowers to the 76ers for doing this. That is top notch, absolute class, hats off to them. It was Super Awesome. Well done Philly, you knocked that one right out of the park. Thank you Cosgrove for telling the story and sharing it with us all. Much respect and appreciation. Goddamn I feel good right now 😅
PA Announcer is a dream job for me. Had an Olympics-style get-together with my friends and I introduced the teams just like Clay. Some of the most fun I've ever had.
This is one of the best memories, waiting for Clay's introduction of MJ every game, what the 6ixers did is so respectful and thoughtful, no wonder Mike got beef with the bulls organization, even after him winning them 6 rings.
Just read on Jerry Krause and how he tried to rebuild the Bulls. In 1998 he got rid of Jordan, Pippen, Rodman and Phil Jackson. He brought young players like Elton Brand, Ron Artest, Marcus Fizer and Jamal Crawford. As Cosgrove said the Bulls were one of the worst teams in 2001. Then in the 2001-02 season Krause traded the Bulls' best player Elton Brand for Tyson Chandler who was hyped to be the next Kevin Garnett and the Bulls drafted Eddy Curry who was also hyped as a smaller version of Shaq. Krause believed that Chandler and Curry would become elite players and that a new Bulls dynasty in the 2000s would be born. There was also Jay Williams who was drafted by the Bulls in 2002, they had high expectations from him too, and they got Jalen Rose in 2002. However Chandler and Curry were average players, Jay Williams had a motorcycle accident which ended his career in 2003, Jalen Rose left the Bulls in 2003. The Bulls ended up being nothing in the 2000s. Krause himself realized quickly that the team he created won't ever win anything so he left the Bulls in 2003. He believed he was much better and more capable than he actually was.
Its a shame The Last Dance never brought Ray Clay up nor did they speak about Johnny “Red” Kerr. You'd think for a Bulls dynasty docuseries they would have gotten recognition.
I didn’t know that song was made by Alan Parsons project. I love Parson’s earlier albums and songs but I’ve never had listened to any of his progressive songs until now.
When I see Cosgroves videos just dropping, I stop everything that I'm doing and listen like a PSA about the end of world had just popped up on my phone 😅
I see Cosgrove, I click.

Clay seems like a genuinely good dude. Hearing that final MJ intro gave me chills and you could see the pride in his face.
I didn’t even grow up in the 90’s and I still know his voice, he’s iconic
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Same
Ray Clay and the Bulls intro is simply iconic. Lots of other teams tried and succeeded but it wasn’t the same.
No intro in sports matched this
Because of Chicago’s success.. I think Mason with the Pistons is just like nail and finger
I remember the Utah Jazz tried that during the 1997 or 98 Finals.
Goosebumps and chills everytime he introduces MJ 🏀🔥
I like how Cosgrove turns something fun into an eerie, unsettling story.
Kinda wish he’d start an actual scary/unsolved mystery type channel.

i don't thats why i watch at x1.5 speed
The last time he did it. It made me cry the way Mike even looked up. They violated him and he got his respect and love.
I just got teary eyed seeing the respect Philly gave mj and Ray clay
The last 90 seconds of this video was dope! I'm from Chicago, and this man is the voice of my childhood. A true icon.
That man set the tone for each game. He was amazing
Jerry Krause catching straight hooks even after death😂😂
Because of this video, Mr. Clay becomes a living legend 😍😍😍
Glad he got to do it one last time for Michael
I first heard Ray Clay's voice in Game 1 of the 1992 NBA Finals. His voice is so iconic.

Krause forgetting the fact Jordan played for a fraction of his value, allowing Krause massive leverage in moving pieces.
I hated Krause. I really thought he was racist
love the voice of Mr Ray Clay during the introductions he had with the bulls especially the part introducing Michael Jordan. it's so iconic.

Alan Parsons was an engineer on Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd.
Used to get goosebumps at the start of every game as a kid. Good memories 😁
GREAT MEMORIES
I still have those goosebumps as well

7:24 I just smiled so freaking hard 😂😂 I'm not the biggest Jordan fan but bruh this is what sports is about 🎉
Imagine getting into'd at your wedding by this man to Sirius. What a epic way to get married. Massive W for Ray Clay.
PA Announcer is a dream job for me. Had an Olympics-style get-together with my friends and I introduced the teams just like Clay. Some of the most fun I've ever had.

Great video.
Sour Kraus is a real life villain. Like those green Angry Birds pigs.
Its a shame The Last Dance never brought Ray Clay up nor did they speak about Johnny “Red” Kerr. You'd think for a Bulls dynasty docuseries they would have gotten recognition.
Great video man. Cosgrove never fails

I didn’t know that song was made by Alan Parsons project. I love Parson’s earlier albums and songs but I’ve never had listened to any of his progressive songs until now.
Hey how are ya? Wonderful weather we're having.
CosGOAT with another hood classic
I'm not surprised about how petty Jerry Krause was. I honestly think he was a racist.
🐐❗️💯
Bro Cosgrove could talk about inflating gas prices and I would watch it
Wow!!!!
Cosgrove, your conbect the dots game is TIGHT!!
who would have thought a Bulls PA would be this big as Toni Kukoc!!!
Yeaa Ray
Can he do my funeral? Need his number.😂😂
Ray Clay got the bulls fired up each and every home game...Jerry Krause was such a douchebag letting him go over some petty crap
I like the tone in music on the video feels spooky and shocking
When I see Cosgroves videos just dropping, I stop everything that I'm doing and listen like a PSA about the end of world had just popped up on my phone 😅
I was darn near fiending for new Cosgrove!
As a lifelong bulls fan I will always despise Krause and his ego for ruining my childhood
Bulls owner was wrong for letting that weasel break up the team
Cosgrove with the fire content thanks.
