The 900 block of Indiana Street, is no exception. And todays case takes us there, starting at 1:30am on February 2nd 2021 when a 911 call is made...

It's no one's damn business how many children she had. Obviously, they were all well cared for and happy. Perhaps she was just meant to be a mommy. As someone who has struggled to have children of my own, and lost my marriage because of it, I see those smiley faces and think how blessed she was.

It shouldn't even be a crime if it doesn't have a victim. If there's a victim and it's non-violent, then it should just get probation. Our justice system has this all backwards. You have low level drug dealers in prison for decades and child molesters or rapists getting a year or 2 or even just probation for a first offense. It's truly wild.

So he would have been in prison for throwing concrete at a woman but because of him being declared mentally ill, he was set loose onto the community on probation? I don’t have the right words for this.
When you described the babies and the youngest giving a high 1 because she couldn’t do a high 2 yet tears just fell. As a mom, I can’t fathom. This is devastating.

Lifelong Muskogee resident here. Was kind of surprised to see my hometown covered by one of the true crime channels I watch. Can confirm this case truly stunned the entire community. It's hard to imagine the depths of evil required to murder kids. 😢
My daughter and four children live in Muscogee. Thats what caught my attention. So sad. Prayers to all involved. Rip to those sweet souls.

it would be better for him if they tied a millstone around his neck and sent him down to the depths of the titanic, then what's waiting for him when he takes that last breath, the world is full of excuses everything a person dose has an excuse has a motive and none consider the accountability of and the consequences for what is done around us, yes this man killed his children he also spared them of the perversions being pushed on children as young as them in the classroom, look around you we have a Tyrant in office that laughs at this type of crime and he is without empathy why is he still in office because that's what a ruthless congress desires as they line their pockets/ bank accounts with money that should be put aside for this type of thing, now if I owned s cemetery if I owned a funeral home in cases like this everything should be free, not some greedy mortician with a smile on his face tallying up price per pound price per child, to me that's wrong, I have lost countless friends and its always the same, my dad was cremated because his wife could afford a damn coffin and the 20gs just to dig a hole and put him in it! here's a not to people keep this in mind if you lose a loved one and you have the few tools needed to build a casket you can do so and legally have the right to have your loved on buried in it, so keep that in thought build a casket use it's as a book shelf or Halloween decoration until that day comes, for about a $150 a person can buy the green wood to make a decent casket with other that that a little wood tented formica to give the casket that expensive or average look or depending on you maybe something with style decals of sportsmen ship or other, it's a one-time thing to consider, and it dose cut the profit of a greedy morticians, so many things to consider when it comes to this type of nightmare, and we live in a world that's lifts up a murder instead of someone who lays down their life for the sake of one child finding Christ!
Omg this is absolutely heartbreaking! That man should never have had any access to the children! How can a mother have the strength and energy to raise three young children while going through that amount of grief? I hope she has a lot of support in helping her with the kids.

I sometimes wonder if I'm becoming a little desensitized because of all the true crime that I watch. But then I hear about something like this, and it's almost a relief to know that I can still be shocked and appalled.

Same! I’ve been binge watching this channel and felt like I have become desensitized by all the videos I watch back to back but that 911 call shock and sadden me. Plus any true crime involving children always breaks my heart.
RIP to the five beautiful babies who so tragically had their lives cut short at the hands of a monster. I am so glad Brittany survived so she could see her three surviving children grow and one day have families of their own. I wish them every success for the future 😢

So sad and senseless - those kids and the mom - all so beautiful. And for the mom to survive and have to wake up every day knowing what happened to them must be torture. I hope she remains strong and thank God she has a good support system. These cases make me so mad, these evil selfish men who get involved with women that should have never been allowed in the general population due to past crimes and abuse. And, still we have no answers. I'm really surprised someone didn't haul off and shoot him while he was traveling between the prison and the courtroom. Please keep us updated on his sentencing. May he rot in hell.
I live in Tulsa, which is 45 minutes or so from Muskogee. I can remember the mother crying out on the news after losing her children. It was gut wrenching then, but to learn that he was there, and made the call is horrific. Bless this mom and in death too shall the little ones be blessed.

I live in Muskogee, I didn't at the time and this is the first time I'm hearing this story. How absolutely horrible, and they need to stop with the delays and get on with it so this poor woman can have some closure in her life when it comes to this monster. My heart breaks for her💚💚

My job had me working "temporarily" in Muskogee for a little over three years.
It is a rough town with a huge homeless population.
It's the location of a VA Hospital and it's a Veteran's Administration Hub where Veterans can get help with obtaining services.
Sadly, the majority of the homeless population are Veterans. 😢
However, the majority of the crime was NOT from the homeless people but rather a portion of the everyday residents who lived there.
I rented a condo in a nicer neighborhood while I was there and I had an alarm system installed upon moving into it.
While getting groceries, etc., I saw numerous police chases and crimes occurring.
I never went anywhere after dark unless my husband was there visiting with me.
I was glad when my time working there was over.
This horrific incident happened two years after my job there ended.
It's so tragic and sad.
I truly hope that Brittany and her surviving children are doing as well as they possibly can be doing.
I also hope that monster is locked away forever or given the Death Penalty.

Meth has certainly taken its toll on the town.
One of my grandbabies was born there when my daughter was visiting me and went into labor early.

Why was his brother at the house? Was something goung on and that's why the shooter lost it?
I wouldn't speculate about "something going on", especially since that may not be the case at all. If the shooter "lost it" over that, there would be no reason to take out the innocent children. Perhaps he was the decent brother, trying to help her out with her children, especially seeing that five of them were his nephew and nieces.
@@loveforeignaccents Seeking the full story is not speculating. Brittany Anderson had just recently been charged with child neglect when the cord blood of her newborn tested positive for opiates. So, trying to understand the full story of what actually occurred that day is an important way to be informed and maybe protect other children in the future, if this was related to drugs ... which Muskogee is well known to have a huge problem with.
Does it matter!? I don't care if she was fucking everybody in his family, in the neighborhood, in the world! Those babies didn't deserve that!!!

I lived in Muskogee for 14yrs and am very familiar with that area, even the inside of the courthouse, lol (for good reasons, I swear) and I am shocked by this crime, this senseless crime.

Muskogee Native here & I knew I’d see this one day on a podcast. Lack of resources, poor education system & drugs run rampant. This was another devastating tragedy unfortunately. There were some facts left out but really good job.

Absolutely devastating. She's lost 5 children, and now has to go through a grueling recovery as well as trying to grieve the loss of most of her babies and take care of the other babies. My heart aches for her.

My heart breaks for this broken mother. 8 kids are a huge responsibility, especially for a 27 & 25 yr old. This is a recipe for disaster, these kids barely have a developed brain and already have this many kids, that is a boat load of stress. If this man is already mentally and emotionally unstable and then expected to be a provider, that could be a trigger. The recipe was not that a mother had 8 children.
The recipe was having a gun that a man could use to shoot the family in next to no time at all.
I want to know why the brother was there too. WAS HE BABY DADDY #2 and the killer snapped about it??!! Something is weird about the lay out, why was he coming and going all the time? Checking up on her? Wa she still doing him and the bother at the same time??

Yeah,seems like something was a trigger. Why would he said I would never hurt you. They were arguing Then try to take everyone out. Then be on the phone acting like yeah I'm here. If she didn't feel guilt why didn't she say is name when they asked. Not sure if she'd serve, at least it would be on record. He sounded like nothing was really wrong.

Could it be that she already saw him take out her kids and their Uncle and she was scared while holding on for dear life!
