While all the other kids were watching cartoons... I was watching Duck Men 1, 2, and 3 with my grampa.... Maybe that is the reason I am the way I am today... Obsessed with ducks and geese...

This video captures the 80s and early 90s on so many levels. It oddly gives me chills and stimulates the hell out of my brain.
I remember watching these videos starting about a week before opening day until opening day with my brothers when I was 8-18 years old. Watching these while getting gear, boat, decoys, etc together and get more excited than Christmas morning. Some of the best memories of my life. On opening morning, my older brothers would always start the season's first shots with "cut em!"
First time watching a duck hunting video and makes me wanna try it. loved it. But the funniest was the spit fest, I don't chew, dip or whatever you call it, but I love how unapologetically REAL ya'll are. God bless

Being a teenager in the mid 90's on the WestBank of New Orleans, some of my best memories are my dad bringing the first 3 duckmen home on vhs and watching them together to get hyped up for the season. Man this takes me back, I'm gonna go take a ride and see him tomorrow and just to show him these, he'll be so surprised I know we both haven't seen them in a very long time. Should jog quite a few good memories of us sitting in our old blind together, drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes, and taking some beautiful birds!!
I just love the sound effects of the early 80's. It just feels real. Also love how the mics worked back then. You really feel the sincerity of a 12 gauge killing power.
