  • (Status - Still Viable In Current Patch - Howrever, Peradine now starts with 1 lesser Troubador and 4 Archers. Troubadors also have lesser HP.)
    Arleon (Peradine) can still creep much faster than Loth (Marjatta). Peradine's +1 creation bonus allows him to cast Acid Cloud within 2 turns without getting any reinforcement. When he gets to at least level 5 with the total of 5 command points, with Troubadour reinforcement, he can cast Acid Cloud every turn, which makes him 2 times stronger than being at level 4.
    With Peradine, it is possible to break to the next zone (middle area) very quickly, even during round 2-4, given that the units blocking the path are not too strong (not things like Dragons and Hellbreaths). But in this game, I try to get a stronger economy by capturing the goldmine first. And since I don't get a vision of what the guarding unit is, I try to wait for a bit more units so I break on round 8. This is 1 turn before the stack strength increase.
    In comparison with Marjatta, Peradine can be more on the offense against the deadly AI. I can push forward without relying on guard towers and luring the enemy to attack it. Peradine can be a few turns faster when it comes to breaking.
    Usually the deadly AI breaks to the middle around turn 11, but it is a lot faster this game, probably around turn 6-7. It catches me off guard. I forgot to spread my Troubadours equally. It is lucky that the enemy does not cast damaging spells so I could survive and win the battle.
    There are several battles from this point on. I try to take advantage of the enemy losing a lot of units by selling everything and reinforce my main army and push for the final battle.

    31:23 Magic Immunity is an ability. Like Aim. They have to keep using it to end their turn if they want to stay immune to spells.
