I worked with Thom at Pfizer and he was a great friend. It did me good to see this follow up.
My Prayers for u n ur family, I can't imagine what u n ur kids have been through...I thought to myself with stress n depression myself, that it would b selfish of me to complain about what's going on n my life...there r ppl that r going through much worse n my hopes that ur family is getting through each day n fully get back some thrive...God is with u as ur Husband (Father) n Son (Brother)...Trust n God n don't loose Faith...

Good to see the followup after watching the makeover (just seen it today on New Zealand TV) but maybe it was a repeat.. anyway all the best to the whole Girard clan.
Year later after E.M.H.E now celebrating Christmas.
You should try playing host to a 3000-person tent town in your back yard that utterly destroys your lawn, then never bothers to fix the damage they caused because- once the show moved on- the money (and TV cameras) dry up and all those volunteers are working pro-bono, and thus don't care if your lawn is covered in six-inch deep ruts.
