I just started high school. I wanted to know how you balance high school and life in general with cubing and other hobbies? Hope you weren’t negatively affected by Idalia.

good luck in high school! tbh balancing stuff mostly comes down to identifying how much you care about devoting your time to different activities. I wasn't anywhere near as serious about other hobbies as I was with cubing, so for me it was mostly a matter of balancing school, hw, clubs, and cubing.
