  • This brain gym exercise is a simple technique you can use whenever you feel you need a little integration between your left and right brain hemispheres, your brain feels a little "foggy" or you have been sitting for a long period of time. It will help you feel more connected within your body, bring oxygen in and remove waste products as well as getting you up and moving!

Thanks for another great video Paul. Your content has helped me a lot. I am medical student and would like to incorporate a more holistic approach into my practice when I become a doctor. Only problem is, I am having troubles finding much scientific evidence to back up many of the claims by naturopath`s. Where can i find more studies that address and support this type of practice? Thanks a lot. Cheers from Norway.

      Hello,
      That is a good question.
Here's the challenge with regard to finding research on holistic health practices: Because of the very nature of research as a general theme (isolationist, reductionist, and objective), the grand majority of what's out there is focusing either on isolated body systems, or some aspect of a given system, such as a specific hormonal response. Holistic research has been hard to come by because we are only now capable of monitoring and integrating the data from multiple body systems, and even then, researching a system, or multiple systems without at once monitoring daily lifestyle factors only leads to an assumption that the symptoms are the etiology!
The areas of medicine that you can find useful information that is more holistic in nature are:
      1. Bio-psycho-social medicine. Look into the work of Jason Satterfield for example.
      2. Psycho-neuro-imunology.
      3. Holistic Nursing (Check into the work of Margaret Newman for example)
      4. There is a fair bit of good information available through The Weston A. Price Foundation, and the Price-Pottenger Foundation and you can find them on the web.
      5. The Journal Of Bodywork and Movement Therapy: I recently co-published an article titled "The Ghost In The Machine - Is Musculoskeletal Medicine Lacking Soul? with Matthew Wallden ND, DO and there are lots of references oriented toward holistic health. You can read the article and see the reference list here:
      World-with-Hands.jpg
      6. Nutrition: There are now various organizations offering education in, and generating research in holistic nutrition and related approaches. Try searching "Holistic Nutrition" and if you can land one or more of the education bodies teaching that subject, you can email them and ask for suggestions on relevant research.
      7. Psychiatry: Dr. Daniel Siegel, MD has produced loads of great audios, books, courses, has videos on line, and a web site with lots of offerings. If you look into the resources he shares in his books, you'll find some useful resources.
      8. Larry Dossey, MD has published a lot of what would surely be classified of holistic research in his various books.
      9. You may find the book "Life Force" by Claude Swanson quite mind blowing and has a lot of research supporting holistic approaches.
      10. If you ask this question on the C.H.E.K Institute Facebook page, you'd probably get lots of my students responding with suggestions.
      I hope that helps.
      11. Art Therapy: If you look into some of the very good, recently published books on art therapy, you'll find a lot of research that is supportive of holistic healing approaches.
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

    Hi Paul,
Thank you for your videos about brain gym exercise and also the "Fastest Way to Health". I'm diagnosed with autoimmune disease and I struggled a lot with it. Do you know any books or ways that can cure this disease?

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  Před 6 lety +2

      Hi,
      Thank you :-)
My philosophy is that "we don't treat the disease that has the person - we coach the person that has acquired a disease."
My suggestion is that you enroll yourself in our Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 1 program, which is designed to teach you the essentials of health and wellness practices that are the root of healing any challenge/disease. You can take the training online and can choose the package that allows you to work directly with an instructor, which I highly recommend so you can get all your questions answered and support with integration.
In my experience, with autoimmune disorders, there is generally a component of mental-emotional challenge with one's relationship to "themselves"; often there is unresolved pain and judgment from past life/relationship experiences, or some form of unresolved guilt and shame that is driving the immune system to respond to respond to the ego's judgment of itself. Identifying and resolving such issues takes a deeper approach than most offer, but you may find my audio/workbook titled "The 1-2-3-4 For Overcoming Addiction, Obesity and Disease" helpful. You may also gain a lot from my PPS Success Mastery Lesson 1: How To Find and Live Your Legacy, which in a case as you describe, is best followed by PPS Lesson 2: Self Management; this lesson goes deep into how we become programmed with self defeating beliefs and behaviors, and teaches you methods for reprogramming yourself in dream affirmative ways.
      Blessings on your journey.
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

Small question, just wanted your opinion on hypoxia training, apnea drills and just basic co2 tolerance drills in general. Is there great benefits to it? Is it good for the long run? Or should you just focus on diaphragmatic breathing all the time.

HI, they can all be helpful, but how helpful depends on the application.
Often, such methods are used by athletes training for competitions at high altitude, or by swimmers.
These forms of training are also used by the US Army Special Forces, Navy Seals, and related.
You may want to look into the books, videos, and documentaries on Wim Hoff.

    Hi Paul
after watching your videos i've decided to devote some time, energy and resources to getting braces and my crooked teeth properly aligned.
I've been to the dentist and they said they want to get 4 wisdom teeth out (i ate sugar when i was growing up no one told me it was bad for you)
after that i would put metal braces that will expand my upper jaw/gums and align teeth.
Do you have any recommendation for me or any advices?
Should i buy AiresTech shields to protect myself since i will be having metal in my teeth (also i have more than 24 wifi units in the building i live in)
Should i be eating more broth to repair the damage they are gonna do when surgically remove wisdom teeth?
Should i use pain killers when recovering after teeth extraction?
I am studying in collage, working to support myself trying to be better in all aspect of my life.
Any word of advice would be greatly appreciated!

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  Před 6 lety +5

      Hi,
Yes, the Aires Tech devices should be applied to your phone, and any tablet or computer you use, and yes, you should use the Aries Tech card for general protection, particularly at night since you can't shut down wifi systems in your sleeping area from what you say above.
Yes, bone broths are a good idea, as is regular consumption of a high quality kosher jello gelatin; you can find them on amazon.com or search the web for an organic source. There are also companies that sell shark cartilage in capsules and rotating the bone broth, gelatin, shark cartilage, and using a slow cooker to extract the minerals from the bones of the meats you eat, and eating the cartilage and soft bones will be a good idea. I'd recommend you study the 4-day rotation diet in my book "How To Eat, Move and Be Healthy!"
As far as pain killers, if you can get some good Indica marijuana, or even some CBD oil, that will probably do just as good a job without all the negative side effects of prescription or over the counter pain killers.
I'd avoid any and all pasteurized dairy, juices or otherwise. I've seen lots of problems with gums and teeth in people consuming pasteurized dairy and other pasteurized products.
If you can find a biological dentist in your area and get a second opinion, that would be very wise too.
You can also get some Oregonol P73 and put a drop or two on your toothbrush with your toothpaste and that helps kill unfriendly bacteria in your mouth, protecting your gums and teeth; a good clay toothpaste is wise to use as well; also available on amazon.com.
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

i've been student of yours for almost 3 years now, i do follow your htembh, 4 doctors, your videos, i am in contact with your students (Boris Simurina and Milan Cvetkovic) also i bought many resources just haven't got time to learn from those (pps1, all prerequisites for exercise coach)
i was just wondering if there were any additional things and that's why i asked.
Sadly there is no biological dentist around my area (Serbia) but i've gotten 3 opinions so far and these people seem most in line with knowledge you share and my own experience.
Would you recommend something like Living Fuel in first couple of days of recovery since jaw will be sore and painful?

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  Před 6 lety +5

      Hi,
Living Fuel is not something I'd recommend unless you had no other option.
      I'd suggest you use:
      1. Bone broths
      2. Slow cooked meals
      3. Freshly squeezed juices of a mix of vegetables and fruit balanced to meet your needs for sugar balance.
      Love and chi,

      Hi,
They could very well be toxic.
If you really want to know for sure, find someone that offers soil testing and related tests.
You can usually find them through organic farmers associations, soil associations, or search the web for soil testing in your area.
In the mean time, it would be wise to wash to remove surface toxins and avoid getting them on your fingers before you peel and eat.

      Hi,
There are numerous diet and lifestyle factors involved in fungal and parasite infections, and you may well have both at the same time, and not realize it; this is very common.

It is not a myth at all.
The left and right front wheels of your car work together too, but you can get a flat or have a problem with either of them that disrupts their ability to work together.
I'm not implying that they don't work together, just that they can become "dis-integrated".
All you have to do is try the Brain Gym exercises for yourself, and let that be your own research.
People often read "science", but don't really fully understand it because they don't have the background knowledge to interpret what it means at an empirical/practical level.
