Which hotel do you want to stay at first? I call Stella Nova!
I just love the name Terra Luna
Got to be the Helios. The views are going to be insane!
Helios... as long as the cost is not outrageous. Being in the park should be next level. Hoping they offer AP discounts.
Which ever one that is cheapest lol.
Depending on budget, I’m considering 1 night in the Helios, and 6 nights at Endless Summer 😂
Your coverage of this park is criminally underrated. Thank you for all the thorough updates!
💯% agree only update channel worth watching and omg it's totally going to be epic 🎉❤️
FACTS
👏👏👏
💯- it’s truly unreal!
It's rare to see a park being built from the ground up nowadays, this is so awesome. I'm most excited for Classic Monsters and Ministry of Magic, they look great
Same Nintendo world I am excited for also
It's a crying shame that the Dark Universe didn't pan out to give the modern day big-screen treatment that Universal's legendary Monsters deserve. But one can hope that if the Epic Universe attractions do well enough, it could spark another attempt. Imagine rollercoasters, thrilling dark & flat rides and stage shows all themed to Frankenstein, Dracula, the Mummy, Wolfman and The Invisible Man!
I see what they're doing with the Ministry of Magic ride. It's going to be Universal's version of a Rise of the Resistance type attraction. Giant queue showroom, multi-floored ride system, etc.
Certainly feels like the big reveal to the Ministry hall and atrium is like their Star Destroyer moment!
This is pretty cool, but I’m a bit worn out on all these dark rides where you follow a screen around for 3 minutes :(
I really hope not. I actually want to ride this. I’m tired of paying insane amounts of money to either be told no, or to be told I can wait in line, even though the answer is still no.
@@wonder_9315 Hopefully it’s closer to Rise of the Resistance then because that ride is WAY beyond screens
@@Shakooba There’s rumors for a new type of animatronic characters for the Ministry ride.
I think the Harry Potter ride is gonna be universal’s rebuttal to rise of the resistance. With the immersion and lack of screens already shown, I think they’re going for the best ride holder.
babe wake up, new theme park stop just dropped
Theme Park Stop Epic Universe updates are my favorite part of the day. ❤
I am just amazed on how much work is being done. I just hope they are able to finish up in time for Summer 2025, because that's going to be here before you know it.
Love that Universal's taking full advantage of the site for the Ministry attraction. If UC were limited to the Fear Factor plot, they'd only be able to squeeze in the atrium and create a Tower-of-Terror style elevator ride. The office walkthroughs are going to be fantastic (although I hope an elevator experience is still included) and we have multiple levels to the actual ride. Will be great to see how they fit the dark ride portion in and improve on Spiderman & Transformers!
Another great update! Litrally leading the way for Epic Universe updates! Already looking forward to the next one! 😁
I really want to see the canceled restaurants built. The Italian observatory idea is both original and unique!
This place is going to be a madhouse when it opens. Hopefully, it will draw more crowds away from Islands and Studios, because the last time I went, both parks were wall to wall people and at least an hour wait for anything - including food!
I think it'll definitely take some of the crowds away from the other parks. Although All 4 Disney parks do be pretty busy despite having more spread, if anything epic might increase even more people to Orlando. But time willl tell
Thank you Alicia! Every update makes me so much more excited. ❤
I literally gasped with excitement when I saw the update come up! Thank you Alicia for another great update, the plans for the Ministry if Magic look amazing! I'm saying the Grand Helios! 😊
A couple other people have started updating this park but yours is the one I really look forward to. It’s by far the best.
Dang the Minstry ride I got goosebumps, I’m so excited for that especially!
I live for these updates!!! Love your work and bio's!
I really hope they come up with some other space themed full service restaurant for the central hub. I’d really like to see Universal’s take on Space 220.
I'm so excited about that forced perspective part of the Ministry queue!
They need a peoplemover type attraction, something where we can just ride around and enjoy the park
These are the videos I click on the fastest! Another fantastic video Alicia!
I crave these videos as much as I want to return to the parks. Thank you for the awesome updates.
Great update Alicia.
I cant wait for this place to get some real color! The little moss on the wall in HTTYD land got me so excited lol
I've gotten so attached to the music in these videos that I want them to be a part of the Epic Universe soundtrack in the park
I really appreciate these update videos. Very thorough…also props to the construction crew. They are killing it. 👏🏻
Thanks for another great update! It's coming along so well.
This coverage has been so great. Thank you!
As always, excellent coverage. Thank you!
Just found your page, please don’t stop these updates 😊
Cassini restaurant observatory sounded like a brilliant idea, sad that was let go by the wayside :( great update!
I’m a little on the disappointed side
You should comprare predictions vs opening day video when Epic opens
Thank you for another amazing update! I am very intrigued to see how the Ministry of Magic attraction turns out-the entry process through the fireplaces and grand reveal of the atrium are sounding like they will be pretty spectacular.
Let’s gooo another update!
Thank you for all your hard work on covering Epic Universe, I feel like as long as I'm subbed to Theme Park Stop I won't miss any cool update lol. The DK golden bricks on the temple got me way more excited to see than it should have.
I’m excited to see COLOR showing up already!!!
This is so bloody exciting!!
These are the best videos! Thank you, Alicia!
Amazing video! Your coverage of Epic Universe continues to be incredible
I am so glad to see an update as it's been weeks. ❤
No!!! They better not of canceled the observatory dinning location :( that was the one I was looking forward to the most!
Finally confirmation on the Ministry of Magic! Awesome, thank you!
Wow I’m so excited!!
Great update. Thank you.
Fantastic video Alicia!
I love the Spider Man ride so I’d be so happy for that ride system to return for Harry Potter.
Same, it’s a really fun ride system
I love these epic universe update videos it’s awesome to see the progress
Can't wait looks great. May have to do a drive by the construction when I'm down for my next visit to Universal in a couple of weeks🥳 Thank you so much for the updates🙏💯
"OH MY GOD, STELLA POSTED! STELLA POSTED!!!" me to my husband, just now
I have the honor to be working on small parts of this park!
Can't wait to see it in action.
That’s really cool
I was in Orlando and saw epic universe its looking gooc
Can't wait for this park/these resorts!!!! 😵💯🤯
I excited to experience what those that witnessed Disney Land opening year. Everything new everything just magical. I seriously cant wait.
The speed of all this still amazes me
Thanks Alicia you're the best!!
Gosh I live for these videos
I wish they would create some kind of transportation that circles the park. I don't mean like a train but maybe a monorail of some kind. So many amusement parks lack these simple Transportation devices
I love the concept art for the small Texas Universal park and how it has a boat ride that passed through all of the lands of the park!
@@ThemeParkStop yes!!! That’s what I’m talking about. Disney doesn’t do this any more
awesome videos!!
Interesting....thanks for the effort...
Thank you as always! I hope the swing launch is real and we have a small show scene with Mr Talbot changing before lashing at us as we speed off again 😅
I am so happy to hear they’ll be using miniatures instead of screens!
The construction for the park is taking place literally right next to my apartment complex. I can see it at multiple points during this video 😁
That is so cool
it's funny, the place in the Paris wizarding wolrd is Place Furstenberg in Paris and it's literally 50 meters from where I live right now
I'll likely wait until Feb 2026 to visit. Let the kinks work out and MASSIVE crowds enjoy it at first.
Oh I love Elysian!!! I’m going to call it that from now on and stay at the Helios after I’m full.
So hard watching these update videos! I wanna be surprised yet need to know all the details!
No channel builds the hype like this one
Love the update! 12:06 Would've loved to have seen the route you take because it's not entirely clear for me.
I believe there’s two paths, maybe one for Express and one for standby. And I wasn’t exactly sure myself so wasn’t going to take guesses lol
Wow!!
I really like the new logo. It works so nicely.
Im so excited for the ministry of magic ride, however the Paris location will always get me. Oh imagen if they would have done the land as the wizarding world cup! a boy can dream.
ユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパンも大規模拡張/アップデートを期待します。世界中のユニバーサル・パークでトップの集客力を誇るユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパンですから。。
This is so cool!!
Also, I like to think that Windmill restaurant might be based off of the 1996 movie Twister, it makes sense because it IS a universal film and it fits the theming of “Dark Universe” pretty well, but that’s just me speculating.
EDIT(5/3/23): Actually, doing more research- it’s actually supposed to be Frankenstein-based, as the movies featured a windmill setting.
Cassini sounded like a great idea and I'm sad to see it "dead", but if little cuts have to be made to avoid big ones, then so be it - EU is gonna be very cool. I hope the cancellations in the Hub eventually lead to a third Attraction being placed in the hub a few years after the park opens, because Celestial Gardens seems like it will be a really inspiring place to hang out. The more that's located there, the better!
these are always so well done! truly impressed with every video. however, i don't know why i torture myself and watch these. makes me want to go to universal ASAP!
I know the park is 2 years away.
But when do you expect we could get advertisements or trailers for the park?
Starting early next year for more details, but summer 2024 for the big BLITZ! (One year before the park opens.)
@@ThemeParkStop thanks
Expect soft openings by really late in 2024 or early 2025. Universal is 6 months ahead of schedule already on building Epic Universe. The summer 2025 opening date was projected after Covid stopped construction. They used a worst case scenario for the revised opening date. They are on pace to be completely finished in 18 months.
Orange Country confirmed today that the Kirkman extension won’t be ready until late 2024. Nothing can open until the roads are ready.
@@ThemeParkStop Yep, if the road extension is done by Nov/Dec 2024, then you will see soft openings soon thereafter. They will need to get return on investment as soon as possible for both the park and hotels. Universal moves way faster than Disney and won’t let a fully completed park just sit for 6 months. I’ve been to almost every amusement/theme park in America and can’t wait for Epic to open! Keep up the great videos, Alicia!
You're the best, we don't deserve you. Thank you 🎉
They really went crazy with roller coasters in this park.
This theme park looks like it will be open summer of next year the way they're moving lol...🎉😊
Great update! With more detail being added, do you think Universal might confirm the lands soon?
I’d guess next year!
With all the names listed here, I imagine that the HUB will take the theme of outer space and the lands will be like planets. I really like this idea, because it'll be like guests will be travelling through this fantasy-style solar system and exploring all the planets that orbit in it.
EPIC
4:04 I feel like this could be a intamin dynamic motion stage. Not really any reason for it other than the size roughly matching and it needing such a deep cutout. But who knows
I like these videos so much, I'm actually sad when Alicia's outro music theme starts playing --- NOOOO! It can't be over so soon!!!!! MORE MORE MORE!
Every single update, this massive park becomes more complete
I’m very interested to see what everyone thinks the best ride at this park is. I’m also very curious to see when they’ll expand. I’m hoping that flying simulator happens in the HTTYD land one day. :(
Thank you for these great updates, Alicia! 🎢❤️
The section under developed might be being saved for the new HP TV Show! OMG I hope so! It seems to line up with the announcement from WB HBO.
I hope they leave a path for expansion of Super Nintendo World, like a shop they can tear down, to expand further. They can build the SNW area as large as they can and it will always be full, so might as well go big!
really excited for the Ministry of Magic ride
Yea me to
They should build a Super Nintendo themed hotel. It will be a huge hit.
What a great update! But what are all those horizontal lines in the area described as fireplace hallway?
The fireplace shapes go up across the ceiling and make arches you walk under
Thanks for the answer :) ! Arches in architectural plans are not usually rapresented like that but maybe this drawing displays some other constructions elements as well
Exciting ! British ministry ! What other could they do after the ministry ? Any ideas like the burrow house maybe could be fun or something, thoughts ?
I took a break from coasters and stuff and couldn’t figure out what they were building that needed THAT much space😭 it makes sense now tho
That monsters coaster looks very short?
Obligatory love your coverage and thank you. Now, does anyone else think summer 2025 seems far away for how much progress they're making?
Indeed. What confuses me is facades are already now going up more than 2 years ahead of summer 2025 launch, considering most of the lands were mostly dirt a year ago.
I used to work right across the street from where this is being built for 18 years. I suppose it could improve the area, but it’s too bad to me that they’re building it where they are. It’s right next to one of the worst sub-areas of Orlando called Tangelo Park, that’s very known for its high crime and drug issues. On another side it’s very close to some industrial areas that aren’t very nice. I also have no idea how this is going to work, not even bring connected to Universal’s other parks and property. Lastly, it’s night right off of a freeway either, and has a short area of development between it and the interstate that’s a horrible bottleneck. I got stuck in it almost every day for 18 years. I just don’t know how I’m the world this park is going to work. Seems like it’s going to be a massive flop.
There's always a Debbie Downer. -__-
The entrance to the park is way on the other side of Tangelo Park. The area adjacent to it is already fenced off with barbed wire at the top.
I guess you would have been happier had the park broken ground in, say Windermere? (As if THAT would ever happen! LOL!) Don't worry, I'm fairly certain we'll all be safe from those pesky small time drug cartels.
At any rate, the infrastructure is being improved on both sides. Also, I'm trying to remember the last time I saw a nice industrial area.
Man, you're too much! LMAO!
i was hopeful Starfall racers would have a different Color scheme. I'm sure once all the theming and props are all installed it will come together nicely.
How does WB, Universal, and JK split the revenue? Seems like uni uses WB visuals for parks. So much revenue seems to be made from HP ip.
Didn't Merlinwood have a restaurant called the Oak Tavern?
Oh yea true. It was named Enchanted Oak Tavern. Not too different than Oak & Star Tavern.
Boom goes the dynamite
