- The team leader, Timothy Draper, meets up with his crew of treasure hunters and presents an idea to document their expeditions. The team faces a hard decision on what's best for them.

During the spring of 2022, Tim and Shaun Fotheringham decide to do something they have been talking about for years, film their adventures and treasure hunts. Tim is well aware that it would take more than just the two of them to be successful in the field. Shaun helps contact other known friends and treasure-hunting veterans to see if they can create a team.
Todd Andresen was another key ingredient. His 30 years of experience is just what Tim and Shaun needed so they could convince the others to come aboard. Todd agrees and the three hunters move forward with organizing what could become, one of the best treasure hunting teams and explorers in America.
The next move was to ensure they have the right videographer and filming equipment. Chuchie Zitting (Chuch) was a friend of the group and he was the first chosen. Tim and Shaun wasted no time and made arrangements to meet with him. Chuch was impressed with the plan and expressed that he's always wanted to do something like this, filming and documenting real adventures.
As the team grows bigger, the original three founders started to prepare the necessary gear. With help from Garrett Metal Detectors and Maglite Flashlights, the means of funds started to come in and the team moved forward. Soon, Tim was presented with opportunities from other sponsors like Yeti, Sunnto, Garmin, Outdoor Research, and others.
The team meets up with others to invite them along with the crew. Marc Hoover, a known metal detectorist from Florida makes a big decision to join the team in the western states. This was a big move for everyone because this team now combined the east and west coast. Marc doesn't come empty-handed, he brings along his good friends KG and Ringy from the Diggin with KG and Ringy Show.
At the end of this episode, the new team celebrates its future as they anxiously wait for their first adventure. Tim takes Shaun to the edge of St. George to point to their first site and explain what they are looking for. This is only the beginning for this team. They will travel around the western states to uncover riches and history lost with time.

Kerry, thank you very much. Steve was my buddy and it’s been hard. He was going to film with us. He passed away the day we had of photo shot for this show. My mom passed away two months later. My father in law passed a couple months after that. It’s been a rough year but, I need to press on with my passion
