Hey man, it's Thanksgiving here in the states. Hopefully you and Rocko spend the day doing what you enjoy. I'm headed off to the in-laws with food prepped for a few hours of family gathering. Just want to give thanks to you for sharing your adventures with us over the years. Be safe out there.

Thanks for taking us along on your adventures. Rocko sure is a great companion. She seems to have a lot of energy which is perfect for doing your hikes and small enough that you can carry her when she gets tired or cold. Plus she’s entertaining to watch her do goofy things.

Do you suppose that there is a category in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most mountain peaks climbed by a Jack Russell Terrier?
This is off the topic of the video, but relates to Foresty being a minimalist: On Friday, November 25, 2022, it is Buy Nothing Day! This is an international day of protest against consumerism. It was started in Vancouver in 1992 by Canadian artist Ted Dave, and has spread throughout North America and Europe. Buy Nothing Day coincides every year with Black Friday.

There's nothing wrong with going south and finding a warmer climate for the winter, I'd be doing the same if work didn't get in the way :) Looking forward to your adventures this winter!
You should hit up Fremont Indian state park not too far from there. Lots of hiking trails and petroglyphs and beautiful scenery. There’s some hot springs in Monroe as well.

After making this about 2-dozen times over the year I find that if you let the dough rise a bit before rolling it out you get a better crust - and - to make sure you poke some fork holes all the way through before air frying the dough otherwise you end up with giant air bubbles.
Reminds me of the Scottish Highlands, albeit quite a bit higher! Beautiful day for a hike.

Your footage is like no other!!! The views are like something you would see on National Geographic Television.
Tip for pizzas. When you use watery vegs like mushroom and peppers if you put down some bread crumbs down on the sauce it absorbs the moisture and will keep pizza from getting mushy.
Been watching since you rode your bike through the US.. then the minivan... then the big van...and now big van and minidog. Still can't wait until you post the next video! You're living the dream, Mr. Forest. Hope to catch you out on the road, someday!

Happy Thanksgiving, hiking to the top of a small mountain on my coastal ranch with my parents in the afternoon for a picnic, the peak has a sweeping view of the pacific and temp will be like 65 degrees.They are bringing a backpack full of beer lol.
