    I put these and every other custom dynamics LEDs on my 2019 road glide ultra. Looks so nice and so much safer and visible. All smoked lenses on the rear of the bike including the tour pack lights.. mine is twisted cherry. Had the inner fairing changed out to twisted cherry also.. FAIRING EXCHANGE did mine when I was in Gettysburg bike week, took them an hour.. excellent bunch of guys

    Nice, I already switched out the front turn signals to the plug & play LED's. These will match up nice and make the front end more visible.

      Thanks, Rickey. Yes, they do. I swapped mine out as well. Went with the Custom Dynamics Ringz. Very nice.

    Thanks for a well done video. Just installed mine. I kept the Custom Dynamics turn signals from my last bike. They look great together. Hope you eventually got them for yours as well..

      Thank you, Dave. I did get the turn signals. I’ve also replaced the tail light. So, all lights are now LED.

      @@joeljasper3622 is yours the ultra? If so, I got my tourpack lights off Ebay. Both the side markers too. Plug and play,match everything else. My ultra didn't have fillers between the bags and fender so I put Custom dynamics fillers in that spot.. I'm lit up now. People ask me if my bike is a cvo with everything I've done to it

    You should have explained that you were unplugging the turn signals and plugging the new units in between the old connection.

    Nice. I saw these on another video but they did not show what they looked like on so I wasn't all that interested. After watching your video I am going to order a set. I am going to see if their is a way to run these with the factory turn signal lights removed.

      Take a look at the Custom Dynamics Ringz Inserts. I just installed some for mine and they are really nice. Adds more peripheral light at night and better visibility to other drivers.

    Great video...Thinking about getting these on my 2020 Road Glide Special. Did you turn the ignition switch on first before removing the main fuse to avoid the alarm from going off? And if you did, did you turn ignition back off while performing install? Thanks.

    • @joeljasper3622
      @joeljasper3622  Před 3 lety

      Thank you. I’ve never had to turn the ignition switch on and then remove the fuse on this 2017. However, that doesn’t mean they have changed the programming since then.

    Custom dynamics instructions say to remove the negative battery terminal but that seems unnecessary. It seems you did not do that as well. What are your thoughts?

      @@marcusjamesOG I always pull the main fuse every time I work on something electrical.

    Just a piece of advice from a tech...ALWAYS test your electrical connections and lights etc before you button everything back up. Nothing sucks more than putting it back together only to find out they don't work making you have to take it apart again. Question???? Do you notice any increased forward light with the installation of these? I'm thinking of any it'd be minimal.

    • @joeljasper3622
      @joeljasper3622  Před 4 lety +1

      Richard Edwin, very good advice. I’ve actually had that happen before on another project. It is aggravating. I didn’t notice any real difference from the rider’s point of view. I’m sure they are visible to oncoming traffic though.

    this is painful to watch just put the screws in the lights and put the windshield down in to place ,then ,tighten the screws

      @@joeljasper3622 I thought the same thing. Not sure about yours, but the backs of mine were completely rubberized so there were no issues with scratch potential.
