I know everything about belgian helmets (I whrite a book with a friend about this) and I have something to say : this one on the video is NOT a belgian helmet ! This is a M1A1 helmet used by the german paratroopers. Belgium made a copy of this helmet, the M71, but it’s different, the interior and the rivets are not the same, and the belgian version have au belgian flag on the left side. bruh wdym you think they just load random amounts of bb's into shotgun shells they usually have a spec on a box of shells that says how many pellets. also he shot 25 individual shotgun shells not one round 25 times or 1 shell with 25 pellets he never said anything about the amount of pellets in the shell. do you know how a shotgun works? or english?

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure, especially with birdshot, they estimate how many pellets are in each cartridge based on weight and not each one is exactly the same... It's also painfully clear that the intent of my original comment was pointing out my initial confusion and the next couple seconds of the video correcting me and being awesome... I genuinely have no clue what compelled you to pretend that I suggested he shot the same round 25 times. So weird, man.

Military helmets are not designed to stop a military grade round straight on. They are designed to deflect shrapnel and help defuse concussive force trauma like being near an explosion. Also a secondary function is protection in hand to hand combat situations.
Sure have see a lot of videos with Canik pistols.. I don’t own one, but I think it will be my next purchase. They look amazing and hopefully function just as well.

SPR shows that a bullet can ricochet off of the helmet. It's not made for ditect impact, but more for angle shots that can deflect rounds off the helmet, leaving the wearer alive
I bought an old issued Yugoslavian M58 helmet a while back. The largest thing I felt comfortable hitting it with was a .25 pistol. It definitely made a dent but not much. Not bad for an almost 70 year old helmet.

That's exactly what I'm saying, even modern day helmet are still mainly designed for blunt force trauma but have gotten better at stopping bullets

Some really pricy helmets can stop .30-06 caliber rounds, but they're roughly $2000 a helmet.
Some modern helmets are rifle rated.
