Hey Brandon can you please clarify something for me that you mentioned on this video? You said that you can not use a pen style tattoo machine to tattoo on clients unless the grip is disposable or autoclavable. So where does using medical grade chemical disinfectants like Cavicide solution come into use? Cavicide solution states it is an exceptionally fast multi-purpose cleaner that sterilizes hard, non-porous surfaces in dental or clinical environments in 1 minute.

I love how I managed a veterinary surgical suite for 5 years and no one ever told me the autoclave could EXPLODE (I mean, I assumed that pressurized steam could I just never considered it. The Doc had me start the 'clave every night before we left)

Hey Brandon! What do you say to people who refuse to wrap their wash bottles, citing they use a cleaning solution afterwards so they don’t need to wrap them? I recently found myself at the receiving end of quite a bit of backlash for saying it’s proper protocol to wrap the bottle beyond the cap. Any advice on that for fellow advice-givers?

would you recommend ultrasonic machines to clean grips before sterilization? Cause I've seen other artists use them.

I'm a beginner and I was wondering... Should I sterilize my tattoo machine as if I was tattooing real skin, if I exclusively work on fake skin for now ? I'm worried that fake skin might actually cross contaminate future clients if I'm not cleaning it correctly... Is just wiping it enough if I only tattoo fake skin?

stopped by this video after your other one. definitely helpful and ive been able to narrow down my question/concern which is how do you spot red flags in businesses that claim to have "sterile" supplies (like ink) and what do you do when you first get your stuff like new needles etc (besides stick it in the autoclave and light those jokers up)
