    ABOUT US:
We’re traveling full time, living on our own terms and showing you the up-close-and-personal details of us figuring it out along the way. Sometimes it’s about navigating big, life-altering decisions. Sometimes it’s about navigating the seemingly lawless free-for-all that is driving in Hanoi. It’s moments of triumph and moments of panic. The good, the bad, the ugly - and most importantly, the real and real funny.
We’re not here to tell you “how it’s done.” Just how we’ve done it. And that whatever it is that’s calling you - the way you’ll do it is much more attainable than it may seem. We believe the world’s a more interesting place when people reject convention in favor of what they actually care about. This is us putting that idea to the test - one budget spreadsheet, RV renovation and mountain-peak drone video at a time.

I am excited and a little anxious for your new adventure. Some how I feel your sleep deprived nervous energy. That's how you can pull all nighter travels with so little sleep. I use to do a 23 hour drive to and from work every 23 days. I felt like it took me day's to recover. I would get that giddy, what the heck ~ go for it attitude. Using that energy just to persevere and push through. I so admire you two. As in real life you two must have quarrels and disagreements. You seem to get along so well!! I like the getting to live a little each week vicariously through you. Thanks for sharing. Your vlog quality is excellent. ~ Jennifer

I did a night train in Europe once - I think there were 6 bunks in the room. Your room was super NICE! Wise to travel with toilet paper - did an overnight ferry from Mazatlan to Baja - no TP, the toilets were all full & clogged, ugh so we ended up using a bucket and pouring it down a sink.

    Hi Team
My wife and I have a trip to Canada later next year so we have been youtubing for tips and destination to see(national parks and the like mainly) we come across the Tim + Fin channel, you guys have such a great vibe and seam so genuine/positive together.I have to admit we may have binged your vids alittle over the last month or so,keeping that energy level up cant be easy at times, worth it when you sit a top a RV watching the sun set while shooting(with camera)wild life, hard to get better than that!
We watched your NZ adventure , you had such a bad run with weather unfortunately, when ever we see a seagull, look theres a albatross...never gets old...lol
We going to buy one of those Tripped travel back packs for our trip, best of luck for your future adventures.
    Shane + Claire(NZ)
PS: I would never go caving with Tim, freaks me out just watching crawling through those little passages, braver than me!

Good vid guys! Just vlogged on a new Thailand train and was impressed. However, those private Sapa carriages and your cabin looked fantastic! One thing tho, new Thai trains have showers on board (hot water no less!). Either way love taking trains, any trains, all trains

I rode up by motorcycle to Hà Giang which is a little but longer ride than to Sapa...Far cry from this fancy cabin Lol.

Hah yes we hear you- because you’ll see we rode the bikes from Cao Bang back to Hanoi after 10 days Sapa - Ha Giang loop

This is the 5 stars train. I took the old French train to Sapa around 2005. I used the ear plugs and I could still hear the squeaking sounds. It was different and interesting though.

I'm certainly no expert (but I am an ICU nurse and my undergrad was is biology) but so long as you're not immunocompromised, and not swallow liters of rinse water, healthy adults should be fine. Just think about the volume of water one must ingest in order to get enough pathogens to survive the 1.5 to 3.5 pH of the stomach. Now think about the tiny amount of water ingested when you rinse toothpaste from your mouth. Does that make sense? cheers!
