I have to fully agree with all of the positive comments. I am a newby to the sewing machine and had to make a skirt in short time. I surveyed a number of tutorials on youtube and happened upon this. What an answer to prayer. Not only did you make it look easy but you actually made it simple with ample instructions. I even got adventurous and combined a 2nd tutorial where you showed how to add a pocket and whatayou know....I sewed my first ever garment and with a pocket. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

Easy to follow video. Well done Dana. Just what I needed as I'm just starting sewing. Have made one little skirt out of some curtains that I was going to throw out. Thrilled to bits with the result. I am now onto my second skirt. I've purchased so called Easy to Sew patterns and I was so fed up because of the terms they use, but your video was just what I needed to inspire me. Thank you.

Great video! I hate ironing as well, and I am all for not pinning. I love that room, by the way! Those yellow polka dots!

I just made it for my two year old, it was so easy to follow. I think I measured her waist to thigh wrong cause it's like a mini skirt lol or maybe because she's a toddler her waist is not that defined and her waist to thigh is too short. I will definetley try again cause overall it came out so nice and neat. She will keep this one for spring-summer potty training time and that way she'll have easier access to her potty. Now I need to buy fabric and make it again!
