Try not to jump on to what is recommended more at first. Those songs are usually the simplest and catchiest. Ghost grew, for the most part, out of the poppiest songs but their debut was much darker. Granted, Ghost uses pop elements in most of its repertoire, but to understand Ghost, you have to listen in context. Each album is done in a different genre with a narrative that flows in a chronological order. From dark medieval times full of misery and despair to the flashy and polished times of old and new empires. The common element being the corruption of church and the rulers. Ghost has a lore, it's not just music. The message is quite complex and you can't get it out just by listening to a few random singalongs. If you don't have the time or the desire to go down the rabbit hole, I would recommend some of the other lesser known, less poppy, much sober tracks in their repertoire.

There will probably an offficial live version of Square Hammer on the new movie, that comes out on June 20. The film is called' Rite Here Rite Now', which is a morphed line from this song, of course.
There are a huge number of great songs in the catalogue. I agree *Cirice* is the most iconic. My personal favourite is *Call Me Little Sunshine* (which I have just learned on guitar). But there's also *Faith,* from a Pale Tour Named Death, *Rats, Absolution.* The live version of that audio (Absolution) from the movie has just dropped, but there's no video yet, at least not before the movie release.
I went to my first Ghost live show last year and it was absolutely incredible. Everybody was definitely "on the square, on the level". Great singalong choruses, huge energy, great stage show. Lots of costumes and pyro and fun. If you want a taste, there's a Ghost movie coming out this week. Go see it! I've got tickets for the first showing.

I've only heard a few of their songs, but this is easily my favorite one.

@BraindeadBreakdown Ghost will continue to surprise you. I been a fan for 7 years. Wasn't what I expected at first listen, and continued every release since then to not be what I expected and I love all of it! Even if sometimes I dunno if I liked a new release, I just keep listening to them and next thing I know I'm singing along with a new song I wasn't sure I liked at first and made in my playlist. They are really good at that!

The lead singer is inspired by '80s and '90s rock bands, and he writes and makes songs like those beautifully but in a "modern way".
If you would like to hear more Ghost, I would recommend "Absolution" (Rite here Rite now Original motion picture soundtrack)
In this video, you can't see the crowd but it is a recording from a concert last year when people couldn't bring in their phones, due to a movie they were filming which comes out in June (called Rite Here Rite now) 😄

I like Kaisarion and the cover of I'm a Marinette is good. The identities of the Ghouls is an open secret but coming from ST, I won't out them here, i will say their solo stuff is good also. Different from Ghost but good.
I like Ghost but not a huge fan. Cirice however is a special song and can't wait for you to get there.

So ghost is a band that I dont listen to all the time but I will go out of my way to see them live every time they are near. Such an amazing show
