These tips are valid for ANY brand of tractor, new OR used: John Deere Tractors, Kubota, Mahindra, TYM, Massey Ferguson, Kioti, LS, Yanmar, New Holland, Bad Boy, and probably any other tractor manufacturer I've forgotten.

They don’t know where my backhoe is. But yesterday I paid for the rim guard. It adds almost 1200 lbs. Great advice

Good advice! I went with a JD 2038R from all the good reviews, but also from the fact that our property is pretty much surrounded by JD dealers. Since we're in hill country, my dealer said they actually won't sell you a tractor without fluid in the tires. Not sure if that's entirely true, but that's what I was told when I asked to have them filled.
