@@Trapper_Creek_2024- Ohhhhhh! TY. I guess you really hadda be a huge fan to explicitly remember lyrics that don't make any sense 😋. Well, it was the 1970s, right, when everyone was on "LDS" (joke quote from a famous film).
@@elizabethmartin4328 Yes! It's a story about being home alone with a cheap bottle of rosie wine 🍷 in lieu of a date with a woman. The song was first popularized by a DJ in Canada. For the record it's Cracklin' Rosie (not "Cracking").
IT IS LOGICAL THAT QUALITY IS TAKEN AS A REFERENCE, NEIL DIAMOND IS THE BEST. A GREAT COMPOSER, A GREAT PERFORMER, A GREAT HUMAN BEING. I LOVE YOU NEIL ❤️💎💋👑🇲🇽
I love that ub40 song Neil is fantastic he was so handsom with that lovely dark hair and beautiful eyes, i never knew ub40 covered that red wine song they did a good job with that song then he is not only a great performer but also a good song writer too.
I know he wrote red red wine. As a little girl going to school that song was on the radio. He also wrote I’m a believer by the monkeys, and girl , you’ll be a woman soon. I aced this test. Got anymore? I went to his musical too. My daughter knows that I’m a huge fan, so she surprised me with his musical in Manhattan. Only on Broadway ❤❤❤
Yes, we did know. My fave historic one is his I'm a Believer, for The Monkees 😊 - it became their biggest hit ever, and for a while they were hotter than The Beatles! Well done, Neil Diamond.😅 🙏🏽
I remembered back in the mid 90s at the shore in wildwood nj at a boathouse club a band was playing songs and you had to guess the artist and they gave away prizes the band played red red wine UB40 style and mentioned ub40 but wanted to know the original artist of the song sitting at the bar nobody knew the answer but me I shouted out Neil Diamond me being a Dee Jay I knew all the answers so I won a big beach towel I still have today so every song they played i shouted out the answer I won so much stuff the band told me on break don’t answer anymore question let other people win some stuff hahaha so I got flagged from playing it’s good to know your music
I’m kinda thinking all of us long-time Neil Diamond fanatics know pretty much almost everything about him!!! 🪑 🐸 👑 💎 ❤
@Trapper_Creek_2024, Looking at your emojis: does chair-frog-king mean "Neil" for you? 😊 Weird. Care to explain?

It's two songs Neil wrote for the Monkee"s a "little of you a little bit of me"- NEIL DIAMOND FOREVER.
"CRACKLIN Rose your a store bought woman"
No es a una mujer, es a una botella de vino que compró en una tienda, yo tambien creí toda mi vida que era para una mujer anciana.
A cheap "date" in the back of a pick-up on the weekend. Funny.

There is more not mentioned...Monday Monday is one
I knew he wrote those songs.
I prefer Neil's version of Red Red Wine. He made it sad and soulful. The other group turned it into a fratboy's party song.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤🎉
❤
I'm reading Barbra Streisand's autobiography.
Sweet Caroline
We know.
UB40’s version of Red Red wine is heinous!!!
Woow somebody please tell me what's the title of the last song?
Not a song there that I did not know that Neil Diamond wrote them.
