M F we don‘t have any stray dogs/animals at all in Germany. It always shocks me to see dogs and cats with no home when I visit other countries. Animal rights and protection is a big thing here.
I live in the town of Alpen located in the state of NRW. This town will truly remind you of a fairyland as depicted in the animated movie. Small but that feelings of cosiness exist.
I think Bavaria is the most wonderful place. I've visited some 30 times and will continue to do so, it's akin to heaven to me. Go see for yourself if you can
It's clean only because of communal workers (re-)cleaning it all the time. Unfortunately (stupid) people are throwing their waste all the way around, just like in the rest of the world (well, not in Singapore maybe). Just one example... the town I live in planted wonderful wild flowers all around the town center in order to help wild 🐝 survive... just a few days later the spaces were full of plastic rubbish :( Mc Donalds here in Germany even has its own teams recleaning the area (5 kilometres or so) around it's "restaurants", because it has been told to do so by the government. (Stupid) people love to sit in the car, eating the junkfood and then leaving the rubbish in place (instead of taking it home or back to Mc Donald's or at least to put it into one of the many disposal places)... what's even worse, often they open the window while driving and just throw the Mc Donalds bag out... so you can find Mc Donald's bags literally everywhere :( yes, here in "beautiful" Germany. If there weren't so many (expensive) workers recleaning everything every day, Germany would be a big hill full of rubbish... (but in fact, Germany, beeing one of the smaller countries in the world, is the world's third-biggest nation exporting plastic rubbish).

I was traveling between Switzerland and southern Germany and Austria, especially the villages of southern Germany are the most beautiful regions of the world
It may drive me crazy after awhile, staying in a place like this, just like retirement , enjoy peace and tranquillity until your last breath, no city’s life it’s seems you’re isolated from the rest of the world.
We people will always be busy building mandirs and masjids. We love all kinds of air and noise pollution. But no body cares for nature and environment.
I got an admission offer for studying Tropical forestry in an University which is also situated in such beautiful village area. But I am Afraid about small city and village because of international students can't have facilities without german language there
Jentul Jay No , it is lendi koutal...Stupid ! Don't misguide people . Timbuktu is in Mali neighbouring Burkina Faso and in sahara desert . Lendi koutal is in difficult snowy mountain terrain bordering northern afganistan and pakistan .
