My fave is Brokeback Mountain....what a heartbreaking film. But I doubt anyone noticed early on, "This Special Friendship..." A French movie that was very daring for when it was released, in 1964. That movie is also very powerful and equally heartbreaking. Because it came out in 1964 and being the oldest film shown here, I really believe it should be much higher on this list!!! The courage of the film maker should count for something.....

Maurice is masterpieces all them from the book, movie and scores! When I first time watch the movie till ending, finally I accept the same sexuality love when I wanted Maurice and Clive together since their are first love instead of alec coming into Maurice life, but Clive married a woman and Maurice and Alec are together in the end...

Yes! And the most lovely and impress thing about it (at least for me) is the final.
Not every author would have preferred a happy ending than a realistic one. That is the enchanted of it.

I'm not really quite sure, but my top 5 would be:
    1. Brokeback Mountain
    2. God's Own Country
    3. Call me by your name
    4. Love of Siam
    5. Esteros
At least those are what I remember. 😂

Well done! Quite a comprehensive selection - makes me rather proud of the work that's been done in a relatively short movie history. One glaring omission: "Whole New Thing" 2006

I love the list, but it's not how I would have ranked them. Nonetheless, I'm happy to see Prayers for Bobby among the top 10.

Louis Hoffman did wonderful acting in Centre of My World. Many of the other players in that film did too.

Brideshead Revisited (the television mini-series), though not a proper 2+ hour movie, it deserves to have a huge honorable mention.

I have seen lots and i would say Hawaii (2013), Just Friends (2018) and The Way He Looks (2014) are the ones that really stuck with me. A Single Man (2009) and Free Fall (2013) are also very good.

I have "Little Ashes", "Brokeback Mountain", "Love, Simon" and "No night is too long". "No night is too long" is not here. Unfortunately. All are very good movies. With "Love, Simon" you could have done a nice movie scene with Parter. As a series, I find Shadowhunters Malec super.
