I can't even imagine how to play this game.

The sheer amount of billiard games never cease to amaze me.
    With and without pockets
Different sizes and shapes of table
    Different number of balls
    With and without numbers
    bumpers
    bottles
    pins
it's such a crazy world out there

    •  Před 7 měsíci +1

Yes there are some similarities to all the variations of the running sports, short long distance, with w/o obstacles...
Ball games by hand, foot, racket, bat bringing, shooting, throwing the ball, egg in to or over a goal, net, hoop, line with one or more players.
Racing down the hill on snow, sand, asphalt with skiers, bob, skaters, ...
      And many more.
So billiard has built out many local adaptations, with all having their captivity. Have you ever watched it where they play with bare hands. It is very very popular in Italy.

@ Yes absolutely, except when I talk about billiards to my friends anything they ever think of is 8-ball pool or maybe in a pinch snooker; if you say "ball game" to someone, they'll probably ask "which one?". It's sad, because there's just such a vast world of cue-sports out there the mainstream doesn't know about

Agree with you, mate. Pool and snooker have diferent kinds of difficulty. Very hard, but different overall. This chushion billard seems just too hard.

I I’ve been playing close to 30 years Here in America. I am pretty good. But the people that contacted they don’t want me to play because I’m so good. I thought they wanted some competition.

Selamlar, kanala hos geldin. Yorumun icin cok tesekkürler. Ustalari yakindan izleyebilmek gercekten büyük bir sans. Kanalimizi nasil kesfettin?

    •  Před 2 lety +1

Merhaba Akan.

Is playing 1st&2nd cushions, ball, 3nd cushion, ball legal?

    •  Před rokem

Yes it is legal. For example famous ambrella shot is in that pattern.

is the cue similar to regular cue?

    •  Před 7 měsíci +1

In principle yes. But somehow there are typical differences compared to pool cues.
3 cushion cues are shorter 3cm , have 12 mm shaft, and the ferule is shorter. I think the shot speeds are higher and the balls are heavier, hence the shaft must be stronger.

I feel that Carom Billiards is kinda boring because these tables don't have pockets and without the ball potting, it doesn't have it's charm.

    •  Před 6 měsíci +1

Yes, felt the same at the beginning, but now I enjoy 3 cushion. Main difference is, that one has to plan really much more than in pool. So pool has due to the simplicity much bigger potential for entertainment.

    • @sambee8982
      @sambee8982 Před 6 měsíci +1

@ It's funny how cushions are used as targets rather than pockets in Carom Billiards, well 3-Cushion at least; there are several different versions of Carom Billiards from what I know, but I still personally prefer English Billiards because that game has pockets, and the same table and equipment is also used for Snooker.

  • @JL-jh8yv

In 2:45 why it isn’t a point? The white hit both of the balls and the cushion 3 times

    •  Před rokem +1

Before the ball 3 was hit, only 2 cushion were made. 1 cushion missing before Ball 3 hit.

    •  Před rokem +2

You are right😂, I have missed that. Thanks. Actually we play to target of scored points and number of innings. For example a short game would be 20 points or 25 innings.

  • @kbeeps141
    @kbeeps141 Před 3 měsíci +1
