He was a very smart man who operated on a different system than the rest of us. Being homeless in Portland will exacerbate mental illness. It wasn't a great environment when he lived here. He asked if I coded, but unfortunately I never learned. He always had coding books and notebooks with him when he was at the computer banks. The last time I had seen him was the only time I had seen him in a meltdown. Very interesting guy. Loved the discussions we had.
