Cipher didn't know how to hand to hand combat if i remember correctly, she was hacker extrodinaire. So what if it is an Eteon facility that captured Letty and somehow transferred Letty's H2H combat skills to her?

Yea I think this story-line is a 2-parter where X and XI are a wind-up for Dom and then we get different spin-offs.
I expect this one to end with a cliff-hanger.

Part 1 of 2. Letty and Cypher aren't face offing. They are enemies teaming up against a mutual foe. They are Hobbs and Shawing them.

F9 is the first film out of the franchise I saw. I had absolutely ZERO context of what was going on, apart from, "This thing has JUMPED the shark." I can now safely say after watching all the other ones I'm beyond stoked to show up opening day for a dumb, fun time.
This franchise has leapt over that shark and going straight to the moon lol 😝

Full disclosure: I have less than zero interest in the FFF (F&F franchise lol), but you guys are great, and the thumbnail title was pun-tastic, so this reaction video got two full views and a thumbs up from me.

Fast 11 is the last one! this is a two parter
Maybe it's due to the change in director but the thing I like about this trailer is it dropped the meta humour the previous movies have had. I never felt like anyone was ever really in trouble before because even the characters didn't take the movie seriously. I feel like maybe someone could actually be killed in this one. Jordana Brewster was there. It'd be crazy if this was the movie where they killed Brian off but it'd make sense in world. He is basically the leader of the group alongside Dom. I don't know how they'd pull it off and make it more emotional than his send off in Furious 7 but I can totally see them building up to that this whole time. I also love that Michelle Rodriguez is getting these incredible action sequences. It's so weird, she started off in Girlfight then the first Fast and Furious then she kind of faded into the background for awhile. Since she's come back though she's had some of the best sequences. Presumably her ego isn't so huge she doesn't need that stupid clause in her contract where she goes hit for hit which make her fights more dynamic. She's also in Dungeons and Dragons. I really hope this is kind of a resurgence and she can move into her own action franchise after this.

the movie will end with dom seeing a delorian and walking to it and as it drives off the camera pans away from it and you hear it go back in time. with a voice over/fading away dom saying "one last time"

Can't believe they filmed this movie here in Portugal. The whole highway chase scene was filmed in the North in the Douro Valley but they also filmed in Almada and Lisbon

Yeah, pretty sure this is supposed to be the middle of a trilogy and the eleventh will be the last one. Vin Diesel was just saying that he wants Robert Downey Jr to be in number 11 so they're for sure doing at least one more.
Just rewatched fast five and its pretty clear at the end reyes had a driver his right hand man. The trailer at first made it look like mamoa was his driver but it had to be in a different car to make sense. And then hobbs was the one that killed reyes. So not sure how theyre going to twist this like Letty and Han coming back.
The fast & the furious part 1, Toyko Drift & F6 are the best chapter in my opinion.
This is not the last one, it is the first part the next movie is supposed to be the last.

Fast & Furious peaked with what you could consider a trilogy with 5, 6 and 7. That’s where they should’ve stopped. 8, 9 and 10 are just high budget live action cartoons. And yes 11 is supposedly the final movie.

Apparently Gal Gadot shot a scene, and her cameo was included in a test screening... It did not go over well. Whether they nix the cameo, or find a better way to incorporate her, remains to be seen.
@Rob C Yeah, I've heard. It definitely depends how they bring her back, if it's too cheesy or already been done. But if the next movie is the last one it'd be a nice ending for Han.

I very much appreciate Statham coming back. I was worried that maybe Dwayne had convinced him not to. Although since Dwayne is the one dragging his feet on a sequel to Hobbs and Shaw maybe Statham has no love for the guy. Or perhaps when his Transporter 1 and 2 director, Louis Leterrier, took over directing he gave him a call and asked if he'd come back. Whatever the case, I'm glad he's back. His energy was sorely missed. Given everyone seems to be such good friends now I don't know how, or if, they plan on connecting that post credit scene from F9.
