One thing this video doesn’t cover but is definitely worth knowing is the first 19 presidents and their main contributions/events that occurred under their reign.
    1. George Washington (1789: Proclamation of Neutrality, Jay Treaty, Pinckney Treaty, Farewell Address)
    2. John Adam’s (1797: Alien and Sedition Acts, Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions, XYZ Affair, Quasi-War)
    3. Thomas Jefferson (1801: Louisiana Purchase, Lewis and Clark Expedition, Embargo Act)
    4. James Madison (1809: War of 1812, Hartford Convention)
    5. James Monroe (1817: Monroe Doctrine, Panic of 1819, Adam’s Onis Treaty)
    6. John Quincy Adam’s (1825: Tariff of 1828/Abominations, Nullification Controversy, Webster Hayne Debate)
    7. Andrew Jackson (1829: Democratic Party, Indian Removal Act, Destruction of Second Bank, Specie Circular)
    8. Martin Van Buren (1837: Panic of 1837)
    9. William Henry Harrison (1841: Whig Party, died one month into office)
    10. John Tyler (1841: Texas Annexation)
    11. James Polk (1845: Mexican American War)
12/13/14/15. Zachary Taylor, Millard Fillmore, Franklin Pierce, James Buchanan (4 Presidents from 1849 - 1861)
    16. Abraham Lincoln (1861: Civil War, Emancipation Proclamation, 10 Percent Plan)
    17. Andrew Johnson (1865: Reconstruction Amendments)
    18. Ulysses Grant (1869: Leader of Union Army During Civil War; Credit Mobilier Scandal, Black Friday Scandal, Whiskey Ring Scandal)
    19. Rutherford Hayes (1877: End of Reconstruction, Compromise of 1877)

Yep! I took it on Thursday and passed with a 59. I used this video. But, I mostly used the REA book. The content has more of what’s on the tests than their actual practice tests. And, the actual test does have questions about the Germans and where they lived whenever they migrated over to the US. It had several questions about the Lowell, Massachusetts (the factory) and who they hired. There was one question about Pocahontas. Be able to determine different maps and figure out was going on during the Nebraska and Kansas act. What the result was of the Seven year war and the American and Mexican war. You should definitely know the Hudson River School. What kinds of paintings the artists painted. Specifically “John James Audubon”. Understand how life was during the Antebellum period. You should the the parties during Andrew Jackson administration. Also, what John Quincy Adams was doing after he didn’t get re-elected. Understand what happen to the Native American during the trail of tears. In all, the REA book is adequate for the test. But, all the information is in the context not the actual practice tests in the back of the book.

@@ignaciorosales9295 Umm I took it a while back so I don't remember much but I will let you know this: it is easier than you make it for yourself. The questions were some out of left field but I recommend watching CLEP Guinea Pig's video on it bc he tells you some of the questions/topics that were on it. He was right. I remember his topics being on there.

This video content is still relevant for 2020. This video is just a sample of some of the material you may see on the exam, however. For a more complete review, we suggest our CLEP Study Guides which are available at www.mometrix.com/studyguides/clep.

It is the same material that you will be tested on by the collegeboard, it is not like the history has changed, the questions may change and you should expect a wide variety of questions as this test has you memorize 300 years worth of history
