I remember when I was in Jamaica I left the resort and walked down past the barrierier for maybe 15-20 mins as I heard there was beautiful waterfalls that way. Just before I reached the water falls I met 2 rasta's with a challis in the sand and I lit up my little spliff with them. They commenced to get me so high I was literally hallucinating when I got back to the hotel room 4 hours later. One of the best nights of my lift!

My little brother is a wreck today because of cannabis or whatever that marshweed is called. Soap, butter, oil, hemp rope or clothing and much more can be made from the fibers and concentrates of this plant. But why drugs? Are we humans so stupid that we only have to look for ecstasy? Why are drugs so glorified when it "kills" my brother and many many other good people, I used to have a afroamerican co-worker with rasta and whatnot, but always full of dope, every day before the work starts. and the guy wasn't really happier, he seemed like a dizzy idiot to me, instead of running forward he chooses to fall on your face, what an idiot. All because of "weed", whats wrong with this world?

i hear you - during the recent years i made a revisiting trip to many of my old musical heroes of the past (starting with the who in the 60s) and read literally thousands of comments, conclusion: america appears to be culturally devastated completely, most americans sound very bitter and angry - here in germany we´re not bedded on roses as we say, but things are not completely shitty, we have many, many good things going on, especially musically speaking, we´re still alive so to say... :-) btw. i saw bob marley live in 1978 and it was one important turning point in my life - he made me a reggae fan and musician and i became one of the humble initiators of a german reggae scene - this scene is still small but very alive and active - i recommend sebastian sturm "dancing in the rain" or "shine on", a song by a friend of mine, one of germanys leading reggae singers - he made a brilliant rocksteady album "echoes", highly recommended... :-) and i found nice music in nairobi, check blinky bill "jam now simmer down" or "mungu halali" - also namadingo from malawi is a brilliant singer worth listening to... :-) keep going and use the net! love and greetings from germany 🙋♂️

btw. i saw bob marley live in 1978 and it was one important turning point in my life - he made me a reggae fan and musician and i became one of the humble initiators of a german reggae scene - this scene is still small but very alive and active - i recommend sebastian sturm "dancing in the rain" or "shine on", a song by a friend of mine, one of germanys leading reggae singers - he made a brilliant rocksteady album "echoes", highly recommended... :-)
and i found nice music in nairobi, check blinky bill "jam now simmer down" or "mungu halali" - also namadingo from malawi is a brilliant singer worth listening to... :-)

@@foxfire1229 well, as for the "new normal", don´t you think it´s very urgent to do certain things for getting the disease under control? here in germany we have the same problems and i so wish, more people would go and get vaccinated - and by now we have reliable tests which enable us to return to a certain level of the old normal again..
i am an amateur musician and last year we could only play live streams - but since a few weeks we had real live concerts again - what a relief! it felt so good to play for a real audience, for real people again... :-)
but there are still too many, who just refuse to get vaccinated or even to let themselves be tested - sometimes this makes me angry, especially when i hear them talk about the reasons - one guy told me he wouldn´t want to get a poisoned cotton swab stuffed down his throat - what?!? and then he lights another cigarette and smokes it - those people appear like stupid hippocrites to me, can´t help it...
meanwhile i spoke to three persons who outlived a severe onset of covid and it´s plain horror, plus the repercussions are horrible too and keep going on - all this has to be stopped as soon as possible...
