The Revenge of the Blobs Era
as a former WTF practitioner, lemme say hands up is forbidden! 🤣
@@Tko_Seven "Hands up? I've never heard of this concept" lol
Parlay's are made --- BY STATISTICIANS & actual elite mathematicians employed by gambling sites, casinos, and institutions ---- for silly people who think they're smarter than everyone else, smarter than the very statisticians and mathematicians institutions employ to crank out those betting odds (betting packages: you put in $10, you win, you get $1,000, etc).
The fact of the matter is, it is VERY HARD to pick individual fight consistently correct over time, especially really competitive and/or fighters with less reliable track records, however skilled they may be "in the days they show up"... because the sport of MMA has so many permutations to any SINGLE MATCH-UP, even between two well established fighters. There really are almost endless ways to get it "right" or "wrong"... from banana peels (water, blood, sweat) on the mat, to referee idiocies, to temperature and crowd atmosphere, to ENDLESS combinations of eye pokes, back flips, elbows from below in a twist, to knees, to shines to lights from the ceiling or a camera getting into a fighter's field of vision, etc....
So, to say you're going to pick 3, 4, or 5 SETS of fights correctly, so that if you put in $25, you gonna get $250 or $2,500... that's just utter nonsense.
For any one or two "geniuses" who randomly get a random parlay right --- especially the ones pay out large amounts ---- MANY THOUSAND INDIVIDUALS will get theirs wrong. (Hence: that's why betting sites, etc. are "willing" to pay $100, $500, $1,000, or $5,000 or your $5, $20, or $50 betting: the money, the winning money... is NOT the casinos'... rather, it's the money is from many thousands of idiots who consider they're betting geniuses.)
Weasle im your biggest fan and i picked Acosta. When are we collabing??
The UFCs fault for not going out and actively recruiting more heavy weights. The division needs help.
73% of Despaigne's entire career cage time was with Waldo.
Insane stat

Now we know where Waldo is.
Rare achievement unlocked: Maintain a winning record and a 100% first round finishing rate while getting your ass kicked for at least two thirds of your career.

Good luck! 🙌
U will be fighting in the ufc soon my man. Just make heavyweight great again.
Good luck bro also don't forget TD defense
I never had much hype for this guy. Mma is dominated by boxing and wrestling these days and Robelis has nether!!
Yeah.. Taekwando is a true point fighting sport. Not about actual combat.
Yes, and the bests kicks in the UFC right now are kickboxing, muay thai. Tae kwon do is theateics martial art
Tae Kwon do is a joke, my brother beat the shit out of a green belt quite easily in a street fight, slammed him on his back and punched his face in, without any martial art experience. Wrestling, bjj, Muay Thai, kickboxing, boxing, grappling are what really matters in the UFC. Robelis just beat a bunch of cab drivers, overhyped as hell
@@Habib_Osman A point fighting base is not necessarily bad, you just need to reasonably adapt to full contact. Machida, Wonderboy, MVP have point fighting style backgrounds, I think also Whittaker. But they correctly adapted their style. They kept the same type of distance management they used in pointfighting but adapted to the consequences of full contact. Also Ben Henderson and Anthony Pettis have a Tae Kwon Do background, but adapted even more so then those mentioned before. The "Showtime kick" that made Pettis famous is a typical Tae Kwon Do show kick.
The difference is, Robelis neither adapted his Tae Kwon Do nor did he change his style to (kick)boxing or Muay Thai. He forgot about the things that are actually good in Tae Kwon Do (distance management, kicking dexterity), and tried to fight on athleticism and physical advantage of being tall alone. That may work against scrubs but once there is a somewhat technical opponent, that shit won't fly anymore.
@@angelsjoker8190They did not adapt their style, they actually spend alot of time adding mma techniques to make their style effective, and only against certain types of styles, because ones they start to face seasoned wrestlers, it's over.
He’s gotta wrestle & comeback like a patient Francis
This guy is old man. He is already 35 I know it’s heavyweight but too late to be learning now …
Francis had 1 punch knockout power & great strength
I know Francis started late too but he was fighting for ufc heavyweight belt at 31 although he lost first time vs stipe but he was still top level

Dude had that James Toney takedown defense
Bro’s fist were asking “where’s Waldo”
and THIS is the division Jones wanted to "challenge" himself in. I'm starting to think it's for a different reason..
This is the most dangerous division so there is a lot of luck too, you can lose against a guy not good but this is also the worst division in term of skills, people say aspinall is very good but in another division aspinall will be just a good fighter that mean a lot of heavyweight division...
I wish we could’ve seen how Jones performed in a HW that still has Ngannou and Prime Stipe
@@koalawithchaingun53will never happen, Jon jones is a big coward who avoids fighters who he knows will give him a run for his money. You know Tom aspinall is a good contender, when even stipe miocic doesn’t wanna fight him. Jones is such an ego maniac he couldn’t ever risk it, in my opinion overhyped champion. DJ is the true GOAT alongside GSP, Jon just beat a bunch of out of prime former middleweights who were 2x smaller than he was 6 foot- 5’11 out of shape men who were way older than him.
Anytime he fought somebody who was as big as he was, and around his age if not younger they’d give him a beating. (Gustafson, Reyes) he knows Tom is his kryptonite.
@@him.rico6925 And don't forget Jones ducked Chael f*ing MW Sonnen as a short notice replacement when Jones even had a full camp against scheduled Dan Henderson. Leading to the only ever UFC card cancelled. Jones doesn't like challenges, he likes fights he and Greg Jackson know he will win.

The thing about his TKD achievement is that those were 12 years ago. He went on Hiatus for about a decade then entered MMA in 2022. Not saying his skill just evaporated but he's definitely not on the same level he was when he won that Bronze Medal.

Blobs are the ideal physique for heavyweights
Ngannou, stipe, jones, aspinall, gane, overeem etc would disagree
Being an Out of shape middleweights is the best base for heavyweight mma
@@EliteBadFrogI mean, jon Jones is fat and took 3 years off to not fight ngannou
Jones is kinda fat himself now and dadbod dc and fedor could arguably beat gane and overeem, hell maybe even ngannou depending on how much his Tdd has improved.
@@nickleback3695 but they weren't blobs, they were muscular dudes with solid, yet big guts. Most other heavyweights have that melting icecream cone physique, and the "athleticism" to match.

A lot of unexpected dubs this card it was really good
Thank you Waldo ! I bet $8 and won $88, wish I would’ve bet more 😂
A lot of people were hot on the hype and a lot lost money
taekwondo is a joke especially for mma
Anthony Pettis, Benson Henderson, Edson Barbosa, yair Rodriguez, and a few more. It's a really good martial arts for kicks, and kicks only. You need another practice to get good hands and grappling. Pettis (tkd and bjj) and Henderson (tkd and wrestling) are great examples of champion level fighters that use tkd in the stand up and having a grappling base to deal with the ground.
TKD works but needs other bases to be an effective fighting style. Certain techniques from TKD are amazing for MMA, but it can't be your fundamentals.
