I really enjoyed your video and the care you demonstrated in rebuilding this engine. I also marveled at the cleanliness of your shop!
It’s amazing how many pieces go into an engine! I don’t believe that many people comprehend what it takes to put together an engine and just how reliable they are for hundreds of thousands of kilometers!
My dad was a tool and die machinist and he was extremely accurate with his work. But he was often made to go faster than he felt was necessary. I remember him quitting jobs because of this very thing. He finally found a company that desired his accuracy and didn’t mind how much time he spent on the work. The company was manufacturing cylinders for gases and they had to be accurate!
Thanks again for a very interesting video!

Being an old VW guy, I can remember when I saw the first Subaru engine, in about 1970. There come a long way since then . Back then , they were a water cooled VW. They are a highly advanced engine on par with Porsche, Ferrari, and aircraft engines. Superb.

I'm always loved subaru impreza wrx sti more than mitsubishi lancer evo, dont no why, most friends like the lancer better.
Sound and look so much better than Lancer also cheaper, so i would put the different of the money from impreza and lancer and put it in the engine of impreza. at the end you got an impreza with 400-450 horsepower with same money as have to spent for stock lancer. sorrj for my horrible english... like to see your videos how you rubuild all the nice boxer engines :) cheers
