Cool fact! The interiors on Eurostar trains are designed by Pininfarina, the same legendary-Italian design house responsible for the unique style of Ferrari.
Eurostar travels direct from the UK to 13 different destinations in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Eurostar has carried over 200 million passengers since launch, which is more than the population of the UK, France, Belgium and the Netherlands combined.
Many unusual things get flushed down the loos on board the trains, including a set of false teeth (that were returned to their owner in pristine condition).
Today it takes just 2 hrs 16 mins, quicker than taking the train from London to Norwich.
SPEED - average / top speed - the trains run at up to 320 km per hour - 200 mph on high speed lines.
When Eurostar is travelling through the Channel Tunnel it's travelling 75 metres (246 feet) below the sea level. That's the same as 107 baguettes balancing on top of each other.
Eurostar passengers are a thirsty lot, consuming 1,400,000 cups of coffee, just over 1,000,000 cups of tea and 40,000 bottles of champagne onboard Eurostar trains every year.

🙋🏼♀️⁉️ HAVE YOU EVER TRAVELED WITH EUROSTAR?
What was your experience like? Did you enjoy? 😉
Stay safe 🤗 Be Happy ❤️
One of the things I miss the most about Europe is the ability to just hop on a train and go.
Well done!! Thanks so muchbfor all the amazing information and tips! 🙏🥰
Hi Anna, great video! I only tried the TGV in France, but Eurostar looks really good and I am going to try it👍 You got me off to 🇳🇴and then on to the EuroStar - keep the adventures coming 🤣🙏❤️
Great video, Anna!
really great video. interesting and informative.
Definitely need to try this next time I'm in Europe. I remember having a colleague who had opted for becoming a Eurostar driver and guess what, it takes the same amount of study as to become a pilot(according to him). As for the good taste of food on the ground, the tongue becomes less sensitive above 2700m because of difference in cabin pressure and outside pressure that is maintained. If you eat just while the plane is taking off you'll think everything is overspiced (because of the 1.3-6 G force you are pulling) good to see your video though, YT wasn't notifying.
a million times i love it and evrytime i go i cant wait to get on the train
Hello from back in Seattle, Anna! I haven't done Eurostar yet; but I took trains between all my Swedish tour stops. The best app I've ever used in my life is the Swedish train app on my phone (called simply SJ). Don't know what I would have done without it. It even got me down to Copenhagen without a hitch... :)
Great video
Aww thank you very much 🤗
Great video! So the secret, it seems, is to just ask which car doesn't have working AC 😂
I'm very glad to see Ya!)) So beautiful your smile and voice!) I'm in love) ❤
Aww thank you so much 🤗 more is yet to come! Italy will be on Sunday ☺️🤗
Stay safe ❤️
Great vlog as always! Why does the food taste better on the ground than in the air? Because your taste buds does not work as good at a cabin pressure of 3000m. Now you know. Keep up the good work. Be safe!
Yehwonderfulhaiji.thankyou
Spring 2023 🤞 Paris by Eurostar. Done quite a bit of train travel in Europe (mainly Italy & Netherlands). Find it better than flying, ok it takes longer, but you get to see the scenery outside the window, get more room than in a plane (even in the cheapest seats) and everyone seems more relaxed 😎 bring a book and soak it all in 👍
Try Norway too also in train 👍
@@Rene-kg7pf thanks I’ll add it to the list!
I've travelled on Eurostar before, but not since the pandemic. I'm hoping to go from St Pancras to Lille in May 2023. I have heard that passport control etc now takes much longer since we are no longer in the EU, and that Eurostar are only running the trains at about two-thirds capacity because of the time taken to get through security, passport control etc. The £39 fares are still amazing value, cheaper than the cost of parking at the train station to get to London whilst I am away. Really hoping that the train drivers aren't on strike on the days that I am travelling. One day I hope I will be able to afford to go on and stay in Paris, haven't been there for a very long time
Wow. Thanks for the info. Does it mean now I need to be there like 2 hours before departures?
Great video 😊 How soon in advance do I need to buy a ticket to avoid any increased fares? A month ahead should be early enough? 🤔
@@jacobkowski7705 usually the cheap fare deals are from one month ahead but you may be lucky and get one with less waiting... and once booked and paid for, there's no increase to worry about
@@cmartin_ok Thank you for the valuable information :-)
Question: where exactly is the customs/security check in for "Business/Premier" at Gare du Nord? It's suppose to be faster and I have a ticket
Hi anna first of all I'm ok and I'm alive well long story yesterday a storm became as a hurricane called fiona the power was cut off in the whole country then it came back at midnight everything was flooded and a bridge was taken by the water currents hopefully i will leave puerto Rico next year to los angeles after finishing the university i have to make decision to move to canada or norway yesterday i watched norwegian football
OK, Anna, good job!

Norge alltid i hjertet, Norway always in your heart, I see.

What about passports and immigration .... is it easy to go thru?
Absolutely! But if you have a British passport they will stamp it at the border 🙂 but no questions whatsoever

😂😂😂 forbidden blueberry juice? 😅 made my day!
Thank you 🤗
I have travelled through Euro Star so many times and each time I enjoyed a lot. Its quick, smooth and comfortable and you save a lot of time. This train does not take you from London to Paris, it takes you from center to center.

Far superior to flying
Like Nigel Farage said: We should totally boycott mainland Europe. Close the tunnel !!! Fill it with concrete !!!
