You can tell chicken pecking order by where they sleep.

Chicken’s have a pecking order. The higher up on the roost at night, the higher they are in the pecking order. So make sure you have multiple levels at a slant (so they don’t get pooped on from above) with wide enough boards for their feet to lay flat for happy birds.
