Ingredients:
Shallots - 250g
Green chilli - 4
Tamarind ( a gooseberry size)
Coconut oil / Oil - 1 or 1 1/2 tbsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Dried red chilli - 1
Curry leaves
Hot water - 1 1/2 cup + 3/4 cup
Salt
For roasting & grinding :
Grated coconut - 2 cup
Shallots - 4
Curry leaves
Dried red chilli - 5
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Fenugreek powder - 2 pinch
Turmeric powder - 2 pinch
The best recipe for ഉള്ളി തീയല്‍..sorry for the late comment..njan 2-3 തവണ ഉണ്ടാക്കി...അടിപൊളി taste ആയിരുന്നു...

Nice recipe ...similar to this v make onion mandi in our house without the theeyal ....can v grind coconut alone in this way and store ? For how long can v storecoconut like this ....I added little jaggery at end .
U can store the roasted coconut(without grinding) in fridge for 5-6 months. When needed u can grind and use it. Store it in an air tight container.
