  • Sunday, May 19, 2013- Pauline Longfox and Vivian Williams with her granddaughter Amber Jones lead the congregation, along with Eugene Folsom and Rev. Lester Tims, in Choctaw Hymn 21, Sinners, Can You Hate the Savior? (Tune: Press Along). Phonetic transliteration of Choctaw with English paraphrase:
Uh-buh peen Chee-to-kah-kah yuht, "O Eel-ee ko-steen-een-chee," Eet peem ah-hahn-chee-phol-lah kah Ee-ho hahk-lo pol-lah-shkee. (The Lord up above says to us, "Let us be of one spiritual mind." He is merciful. Therefore, let us hear his word. )
Refrain: Hah-tahk yo-sho-bah pee-ah huht Peen Chee-suhs ah-chok-mah kah Eel-ee no-kee-lah heen-lah cho? Ah-nok-feel-leet kee pee-sah. (Sinners, our Jesus is so good and kind, how can you hate him? Let us meditate on these things.)
Yo-sho-bah bee-ee-kah ho-chah Ah-yok-pol-lo-kah fee-nah Ee chah-ko-wah ho-see ho-nah, Pee-nok hahk-lo tok o-kee. (Even though we are lost and headed for destruction, still he has mercy upon us.)
    Refrain
Kuh-nah kee-ah pee nok-hahk-lo Pee ok-chah-leen-chah hee-uht Eeek-sho; Chee-suhs Ahk bah-no tok; Ee-ho ho-lee-tob-lah-shkee. (There is no other who has mercy and can save us -- only Jesus. Let us praise him.)
