Those older brick storefronts really pop when they have modern glass windows installed to replace the old.

There’s a mock-up facade of the Hudson’s buildings at a lot along Russell st. just north of the new Wayne county jail under construction

Enjoy seeing renovation of Heather Hall. I lived there 50 years ago with my parents as a teenager.

Moved to New Center area in 2018, the developments happening is such a positive sign although when Covid hit it basically halted everything for almost a year. But a positive outlook with this vid! Thanks!

Okay, I've now decided I want the crane rental AND orange barrel concessions in Detroit. They must be cleaning out a three state area. :-)

Unfortunate for US WE can’t add Cass & York condos to this list , But STILL a generous amount of projects are moving along , Hoping there’s a NEED for THIS Trajectory to continue HERE IN DETROIT FAR INTO THE FUTURE !

Some of those developments near New Center were gambling on commuter rail being approved. IMO, Monroe Block and former Greektown changes were similarly based on ownership of the ⚽ team and Greektown Casino.
      Maybe, maybe not.

Very nice. Detroit is looking good. The last time I was there was in 2016. Now you even have the River Walk completed.

It’s supposed to start in June. The amount it was scaled back is quite minimal.

Not much pedestrian action on Woodward...once people who are working from home get back to their offices, the foot traffic will increase...come on Gretchen!...Make some common sense decisions for once!
