  • An introduction to music therapy at The Children's Trust, Tadworth - a national charity that provides rehabilitation to children and young people with acquired brain injury and education to pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
Music therapy is a powerful tool that is used at The Children's Trust to provide emotional support to children with complex disabilities and help in a child's recovery from serious injury or illness.
The film shows an interactive group music session at the Trust's School for Profound Education, then an individual session with a young lady whose recovery from a severe brain injury has been supported by relearning to sing and play the clarinet.
Music therapy at The Children's Trust is made possible by charitable donations. If you would like to support us or find out mroe about what we do please visit www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk
The Children's Trust now has an information website for parents and family members of children with acquired brain injury. Visit the Brain Injury Hub at www.braininjuryhub.co.uk

Kudos! It is nice to know that there are people who help others with disabilities. ;)
