This is a brief overview of the Thompson Ave Station of the SEPTA 101 Trolley in Springfield PA Delaware County. For more complete info, check out the blog:
I lived on Maplewood and walked along the tracks to junior high school. My uncle, who was one month younger than me, lived two blocks from the Bywood (Upper Darby) station. We grew up together and the trolley was unbelievably practical for us. The trolley also went through Smedley Park to Media. Our parents would let us walk along the track for miles when we were eleven years old. Different times.

I lived on Maplewood right off of Thompson until 1962 and used that stop many times.
They forgot to blow the horn.
Needs to be double tracked!
