  • An enormous dragon scales the walls of the 17-story Wat Samphran Temple, which is rarely featured in guidebooks and is considerably removed from the typical tourist track. The dragon itself is hollow, and you can walk the entire length of the tower inside its body.
Curious on how you can visit the temple? Find out here. trib.al/YA1iKmz

Thanks please notice our dragon master made the dragon building not only for monks but for men of every tradition and religion to join in prayers and meditation and share to the world the product of it

Brilliant video of this unique temple. Your right it's not on the tourist brochures as we've been to Thailand including Phuket twice and unfortunately we were not aware of this stunning temple. If we go there again we will definitely be visiting and climbing this unique temple. Thanks so much for sharing this especially as I'm new to this channel.

Hi! We're not sure when it was exactly built, but the temple was officially registered in 1985.

Do you ever think up something that would be really fun but you know you could never actually do? So I've been learning to rollerskate outdoors, and suddenly I'm looking at everything and imagining what it would be like to rollerskate there--and can you imagine rollerskating down that giant spiraling dragon ramp? I know it would be rude and probably sacrilegious, not to mention dangerous in that you might hit the pedestrians climbing up, but man, it would be so much fun to just skate down that spiral! Obviously I'm not going to, but a gal can dream.

OMG! I literally almost unsubbed last week believing this channel to be dead but nostalgia prevented me, so glad now I didn't. Atlas Obscura along with Rare Earth are the only shining lights in the sea of mediocrity that is CZcams.
