The dunsparce evolution should stay Dudunsparce, but be based on the concept of bio-mimicry and have it try and mimic the look of an intimidating pokemon but just be Dudunsparce, with its ability being intimate to tie into this.
The Dunsparce should be something in between intimidating and derpy. Like the red dragon from the D&D movie.

While I like the idea, regional forms (so far at least) don't have any split evolutions unless their original forms already have a split evolution.
Example: Slowpoke has a split evolution which meant the Galarian version also has a split evolution. However, all other regional evolutions are either regional forms, new region-exclusive evolutions, or a new evolution (like Obstagoon and Hydrapple).

great job Gabe! loving that togepi concept and as for that dunsparce...i think you can find that in between goldilocks fit for derpy and badass! i think since we're living in a world of hoaxes, lets treat a badass evolution the fans have all wanted as a hoax and give it to the lil guy! you could bring it down a peg or two by having it grow into a physical menace of insane size and proportion, but retroactively adding a normal type to that bug lmao

sprootama is really cute and cool at the same time plus the shiny looks really good and almost futuristic. I like how dunsparce looks like caterpie and i think the evolution should look derpy
regarding Dunsparce both options sound nice i guess it depends on what other plans you have. If there isn't already a Pokemon that's getting the Magickarp treatment to evolve from something meh to epic then go for that. Otherwise derpy Bug Noodle is also great.

Not sure if you remember me, but I used to comment on the Paleon region videos and you once complimented my Bill Cipher profile picture, and I gotta say I never expected you to make a Gravity Falls region. It’s probably the best animated series I’ve ever watched and it works weirdly well as a Pokémon game concept,

I laughed way too hard at "This is a Fart Monkey." I would 100% add Roilegi to my team as well, along with Sprootama. I can't wait to see what you do with the negative space around the eyes!

I think the evolution of dunsparce should be really cool looking, but still have his silly lil face x3
For Hoh'axian Dunsparce, maybe it could have 3 stages? The first being a silly round Dundunsparce, but then the second being the intimidating beast you were wanting to try doing.
Or maybe a split line like slowpoke does? It will evolve into something goofy with no special requirements but can be intimidating if raised a certain way!
Now we're back for some more of our Hoh'ax journey. Beginning with the Team Cipher Grunts, which fitting name considering what Bill Cipher is. Also a skunk ape? I can only imagine how bad they smell lol. Oh hey, it's Togepi's hard-boiled cousin, and it's a Ground type. Leaf Pokemon time, and this one seems pretty interesting. Also now our Regional Variant of Dunsparce based on a creature with a tongue twister of a name. If it were to evolve, I'd imagine it would still be as goofy as Dudunsparce, though I'm not sure if it would be a Hoh'axian Dudunsparce. Well now, Maple has come to the rescue with backup. Now that we're at the end of this episode, update on team:

I think Ho'axian Dunsparce's evolution should be something that looks very formidable & ferocious while also looking kinda goofy as to keep it in line with Dudunspace & make sure the two pokemon actually look related like Quagsire & Clodsire.

Dunspace's evolution for this region needs to be an unexpected powerhouse because we already got a derpy evolution in Paldea.
Damn, you really outdid yourself with these designs! In this video alone I've already added three more pokemons to my favorites: Roilegi, Sprootama and Hoh'axian Dunsparce - I can't wait to see their evolutions, especially Dunsparce' one, which based on its inspiration I assume will evolve into a Bug/Dragon type pokemon.

If you want you could do a split evolution of dunsparce where one is derpy looking and the other is cool and scary. But if you don't want to then my vote is for cool and scary.

I'd say having Hoh'axian Dunsparce evolve into something more cool or menacing would be more fitting of this region, since Gravity Falls had a tendency to make goofy or dumb things become big and dangerous, like the gnomes becoming a Megazord of stacked gnomes, and Gideon getting a literal Megazord to use against them

Both Roilegi and Hoh'axian Dunsparce look to be good additions along with Sprootama.

Maybe give Dunsparce a branching evolution with one line turning to a derpy regional form of Dundunsparce, and the other being a more menacing new evolution. It can be inspired by Quetzalcoatl.

i don't know how to explain to you how much i love roilegi. round, silly little ground types are right up my alley, and i would ABSOLUTELY have that cutie on my team. and of course, doofy bug types are the biggest soft spot i have, so obviously hoh'axian dunsparce will be coming with me too. personally i'd like him to stay looking like a goofball forever, but having a cool evolution would be fun too!
also, i genuinely think all of the shiny forms you've made so far have been very nice. but also, if you're struggling with a shiny, don't be afraid to just make it ugly or not all that different. you're already doing a crap ton of work making your own region, alternate character designs, original pokemon, AND a plot on top of that-- so don't burn yourself out worrying too much over something as small as a shiny. i'm also someone who loves ugly shinies (shiny espeon my beloved

Dudunsparce has taken care of the goofy evolution, I would love a menacing snake dunsparce evolution!
"When I last wrote, I had encountered a little Capnary. Upon first impression, he was friendlier than my Lilurk Duffy and my Coybra Kipsy. After catching him, he lead us further down the Crystal Grotto where voices could be heard. There were two people wearing hooded cloaks that stood in our path. I tried inching forward to get a better look, but Duffy sneezed and I fell in response. The hooded figures approached us and told us to back off. I believe they were called the Cipher Squad? Anyway, I wasn't going to let them stop me from exploring, so we ended up fighting. Ugh... The first Pokemon they sent out was a stinker. LITERALLY! It smelled like it spent days in Erblinian sewers. But with careful consideration, I was able to defeat it. Their next Pokemon wasn't too bad. Willo the Capnary took care of Sprootama, and Kipsy cracked that Roilegi wide open! The Dunsparce sent out was also dealt by Willo, who was quickly proving to be an asset to the team. Just as we were finished up though, one of the Cipher grunts pulled out a strange device. Before it could get a chance to work, however, Maple and her friends showed up and scared them away. I thanked all of them before returning to the Research Shack. On the way there, Duffy apologized for alerting the two grunts. She felt bad for causing trouble and was worried she wouldn't be as good as Kipsy or Willo. I told her that this wouldn't be the case. With me as her trainer, I was sure I could make her strong enough to help me solve the coming mysteries in Hoh'ax."

Hoh’akian Dunsparce could have a partial form change? Or maybe an ability where it sheds part of its carapace to become incredibly lighter? Armored from looks intimidating, then unburdened form is actually derpy? If all else fails, you could try for a split evolution? Where it focuses on one move (Quick Attack, Extreme Speed, Agility) over another (Harden, Silk Trap-).
It could have a trapper vs pursuer mentality sort of thing?
I like the way u made Sprootama becouse its well made and the refrences to make him [manly becouse I love Studio Ghobli movies like That one] So Thank you for Sprootama and other new Pokemons! :D

Since Dunsparce was one of my favorite Jhoto Pokemon, I decided to add it's regional variant onto my Team. So for now, my team is,
1 - Shrubbun
2 - Capnary
3 - Dunsparce (Regional Form)
Speaking of Dunsparce, if you're taking evolution suggestions, a Bug / Dragon Dragonfly might be cool.
Ohhhh these guys are so hard to choose between! I think I'd definitely go for a Sprootama and regional Dunsparce though. So many good 'mons!
I want dunsparsae to have two evolved forms based on some obscure variable/mechanic so most people get a goofy derp but deeper understanding of the legends or solving puzzles or some such thing rewards you

I think you should do a mix for dunsparce's evolution! Make it cool (almost imitating looking) yet still a bit derpy looking, a nice balance of both. Or you could give it 2 more evolutions, make it a 3 stage, where it's evolution is cool yet derpy before evolving again into finally something intimidating (basically it progressively gets more intimidating). Or you could do a similar thing to koraidon, make it big and intimidating yet it acts quite derpy and can make endearing facial expressions.
Roilegi, Sprootama, and Hoh'Axian Dusnparce and 100% must-haves. No questions asked. Every new Pokémon I see here gets more and more interesting!!

Well, I like all of the new pokemon, especially Roileggi and Sprootama! I'm guessing Stinkimp will be a three stage line evolving into a chimpanzee and then a gorilla, right? Roileggi looks like it could do devastating moves upon evolving into its final stage. Hoh'axian Dunsparce's evolution should be a Bug/Dragon type that resembles a long snake with spikes trying to mimic a dragon with wings that don't have the ability of flight; they're just used to intimidate other pokemon.

I say go derpy with the regional dunsparce's evolution cause at the end of the day.... its still the dunsparce line they are goofy derpy little guys and that is why we love them in the first place so it only makes sense that its evolution keeps that derpiness as well.

I like how the group resembling cultists have more ties to the main antagonist of Gravity Falls, who has no ties to cults outside of this, than the ACTUAL CULT in Gravity Falls (Society of the Blind Eye)
Make a split evolution line for Dunsparce, one which continues to be goofy, like Dudunsparce, and one which is awesome and intimidating, because it picks up the dragon type.
Adding Hoh’Axian Dunsparce to my team for sure. However, I’d be tempted to add Stinkimp because I love the Skunk Ape lore.

and how about you meet in the middle, give it a super cool epic intimidating dragon body but keep the elements of the cute derpy face. It could be a fun design challenge and be incredible when done right
