  • As we strive to stay healthy by eating well and exercising, likewise, it is very important to create a healthy mind. Traditionally, the practice of Buddhist meditation are for the monks and nuns to seek nirvana and enlightenment, however, it has been scientifically proven the tremendous effects of gaining healthy body and mind through meditation for all. Among the numerous types of meditation, the workshop will focus on the Shamatha meditation (Samadhi), which is a practice in clearing out our thoughts and cultivating mindfulness and ultimately gaining happiness and a peace of mind.
