As someone who does play the RE2 rando, seeing you running around with the minigun in your inventory taking up space just hurts..There are some items that have pinned spawns, and you did mention some of them. There will always be a medallion in the 1st floor East office. This was to avoid an infinite black screen bug if people went to the basement to fight G1 without triggering the Helicopter Crash.

Did you ever hace issues with the game crashing on you? It.seems no matter what i do eventually in the police station playing either character on A and B it will always freeze up. Super annoying cause this mod looks like alot of fun

Yea, even as a person first time seeing this mod, I knew carrying around the minigun was a bad call. It's usually pretty easy dodging most enemies and inventory space is key for this run. The back and forth to item boxes cost minutes and you are forced to deal with more enemies. Basically,, the less of it you do the better. Worse yet is that you have to pick up as many key items that you can. Then add on that hip pouches aren't guaranteed early...he claimed that he had a lot of practice and research and I was disappointed by what I saw.
It was the most craziest close Run ever! I managed to catch this run Live! It was INSANE! congrats on the refund.

This maybe late, but yes. The item looks the same as vanilla, but the moment you pick it up it turn into something else.

You really deserve the crown for extending the fun of this game.
It only took me 6 play through for both character to make the game stale. I never touch it again for 1 year then i discover this video and your randomizer.
The game really feel so much fun now knowing you cant know what you gonna get next.
Sometime it crash, but hey its not a big deal.
I remember when I was trying to get the S rank on this game, and I was at the lab, cutting it quite close, and I started to feel the adrenaline going. My heart hadn't beaten so fast in a video game since the first time I beat the Taurus demon in Dark Souls 1; and I remember thinking "so this is how speedrunners feel huh?"
So glad I caught the livestream for this amazing challenge, every moment was entertaining to the max, gg on the refund!

I really hope other creators take notice of this type of challenge! It’s unique and fun in the way that it has one defined goal (under 2 hours) and only one attempt. It encourages people to redeem runs that would normally be reset, and that’s pretty cool!
I hope they don’t. It’s creative to us but he’s basically stealing the game and denying the game creator money if other creators start doing this with lower skilled games. if this gets recognized steam will be forced to change their refund policy and games will be forced to make it impossible to beat within the refund time limit if others catch on.

@@splitdragon3004 I mean, this is something that is basically impossible to do on a blind first playthrough. This is something you can only do after sinking many hours into a game.
To put it simply, if someone wants to do this, they would need to buy and keep the game at least one time.

@@matheusgaviolli9505 late but no, you cant beat the game normally without meeting mr x. the only reason that he didnt meet mr x was that the randomizer gave him items that were out of place in the moment of the game and that let him bypass the initial mr x encounter. sorry mate ur gonna have to face mr x like the rest of us

I felt bad for him because he's just saying his opinion. There's definitely people out there who like it. Sure, the more popular opinion is that people hate it and think it sucks, but he's not the only one with this opinion either.
I've yet to play it myself (Started with 2 and 7, then 3 through 5 so far), but I heard all the complaints of weird combat sequences and focus on action and all that, and personally, I don't mind it. RE might be at its best as a more survival horror focused experience, but I don't hate the alternative either. RE2 Remake will probably always be my favorite RE game, but I doubt I would straight up hate any of the RE games.

3:00 you can actually run past them if you squeeze through on the right side. if you're having problems with the second one grabbing you (As long as you're not mega slow, the first one should be out of range to do a successful attack, unless you f it up) you can shoot it once (Recommend the head or leg, as those give the longest staggering effect) and run past them pretty without problem

You CAN do the same run multiple times. Once you randomize, the itens will stay that way until you randomize again, no matter how many runs you start.
