Nice bro ! Been looking at the ko-8 8k and DD m8000d to push my 2 15s (looking at these amps due to small size footprint. Right now im running an DD m4b at .5.
Damn your running dual 1s than I have the hooligan ko 5k it’s badass on 2 deadgame v3 15s I can’t wait till I upgrade to the 8k and get a 3rd 15 there dual 4s with 3 of them I’ll be at .65 ohm load think I’ll be ok.
I would get niteshades for sure but they are 1200 bucks. but any of the big sundown subs drop in to my box with very little changes to the tuning if I catch a deal. Neo magnets are hands down bad ass. I just spent 250 on some prv neos for my doors and they are the best speakers I ever had in my life. I couldnt imagine a neo on a giant sundown subwoofer. It really depends if you like smooth clean lows go X if you like hard hitting higher bass go niteshade and zv5 is somewhere in the middle. but it also depends on the space you have My box is huge for just 2 12s I couldnt image trying to fit it in the trunk of a car and I cannot pick it up by myself and zv6s are 15 pounds more each.
@@rexnhogz ... I love the lows for some reason. It sounds so good. But I've heard zv5 before and they get down too. I'm not really into the hard hitting bass too much. Kinda painful and not really my thing.
@@rexnhogz I have a 2000 chevy tahoe. And I have 3 row seat. Very little space back there. Bit if I move the seat a little I think I can fit two 12s in a custom box. I currently have two x8v3 in a down4sound prefab box. And 1/0 gauge wires. Big 4 done. Xs power d3400. And a mechman 240. Dyno at 270. And a deafbounce machete 2100. I want to eventually take out the 3rd row seat and put in 2 18s or 4 18s. But I do have kids and I wanted to keep the 3rd row seat in. Choices bro
i guess that would depend on size space and budget. the ds18 exl xxb high excursions are awesome in a 35hz 4cu box. also depends on the music and frequency's you like.
I have a pair ds18 12 inch I know I won't be using any gain with these subs they are the select model 500 watts max each I tried the exl2500.1 and 4000.1 ran cca now everything is ofc and 1 stinger battery I need a custom box
@@JosePerez-id5je oh yeah this is a real 8k you'll need way more than that and different subs. This amp will probably blow your subs with the bass knob turned all the way down 🤣🤣 and you'll need about 5 or 6 stinger batteries and a massive alternator.

A full bridge 8k would be smaller but it is one of the smallest korean 8ks

I run two of them no fan at .5 each amp never cut off they get warm but never cut of the only time it cut off is at .33
Its probably the placement of mine its more in direct sun It was in the high 90s that day at sundown

btw the ds18 exlxxb high excursion on my channel would be the way to go as far as price to sound and power handling and they only need a 4cuft box
